Greetings, Student
I know not why you came to my door, but I suffer no fools. I do not practice the magic of the weak and the lame. Mine is the power drawn from El Diablo himself. A portal to the underworld has opened beneath this hotel. In room 666, we wait. We twist and corrupt others to do our bidding, sowing the seeds of evil within the minds of men. We have our own sick champions roaming the grounds as I speak, spreading fear and confusion amongst the Town. So, my student, you dare follow in my footsteps? You think you can pledge your allegicance to... the Black Wizard!?
Haha jokes, I'm glad you picked me. I bet you're annoyed that I turned out to be the hardest Wizard to win as.
It seems we both have some explaining to do. I expect you're wondering what kind of strategy I'm employing, and how much of an idiot I am. I was also surprised to see your strategy in play.
In this sanctum we are safe. There will be fun, and balloons, and no judgement. We need to work together, I can think of some crazy shit we can do to spice up this game...
So before we get into anything, I think we should reveal our COM names. I am Luna. I began hinting that I was a new player. I intentionally messed up the tally to make people think I am Luna. I have reason to believe that will help me further down the line, as I have a record of role-claiming early and truthfully. The only hindrance might be that people who know me might suspect me to pick any wizard other than green, but I think I got that covered.
You better have a sense of humour, because I WANNA CAST A SPELL!

We still need to discuss some stuff.
I'm curious, why pick me? Did you just want to be a Wizard, and I was your best chance at a non-Town role which wasn't a guess?

Plenty of night left.
I wonder who I should target.

Am I right in thinking you're from US West Coast, based on that post you made yesterday?
That creates some minor timezone problems.
I'm heading off to bed now, 1am here. I look forward to hearing from you tomorrow.
I was all excited about getting a night chat xD

Luna, The Warden is in.

- I was doused, and I was curious.. I was pretty sure you were not green.
but I think I got that covered.
- Not the best track record with lying well, lol. Throughout the day people several players were questioning about you. Things are tricky, so do be careful. If I could figure out you were not what you claimed, others will too.
You may find our arsonist in the lynch train against Narks. It was his idea. I am getting also getting a scum vibe off ganondorf.

I have been fighting all of my natural urges this game. I've forced myself to lurk ferociously; I've established the position I kinda wanted and I want to keep it like that. I'm on the radar as a Wizard, not a particularly helpful one but one which isn't actively trying to f*ck things up for the town. My worst fear wasn't being lynched, it was getting killed at night by the scum I sided with.
I'm annoyed that I panicked so early against suicidal's pressure, but honestly I (and most others I assume) did not know what to expect out of the rules. I was most afraid of an Investigator checking me, so I went right ahead and claimed Wizard a few days before I planned to. fm Falsetruth was leading that one a bit, saying that my refusal to role-claim immediately was cause for me to be lynched. I was worried that if I didn't derail the train immediately then enough people would lazily toss a vote on me and the majority vote auto-lynch rule would see me dead. As I explained to Yayap, after what I went through with Lionel (deja f*cking vu) I wanted to play the short-game and immediately stop the lynch rather than plan long-term.
By 'The Warden'... is that you Ambient? xD Awesome. If we can pull off anything near a victory in this game we shall die a legend.
Now I'm curious as to what strategy you're going to take. Are you going to continue with this sheriff claim? I can understand not wanting to be flamed so you followed his orders... but what does the Arsonist expect from his victims? He's already doused people - he WILL flame them, it's like a blackmailer handing the incriminating evidence on you over to your spouse and then demanding his payment.
I'm going to keep up the same kind of strategy. The 'Lynching me is such a waste of your time' card. I don't exceed in many areas of FM, but I can manipulate and talk doublespeak. My proudest moment was M-FMIV where I claimed Executioner and got my target lynched immediately. Sure, it was on Zane who refused to defend himself, and everyone said the town were idiots. Picking the right moment, the right fake investigative result, and implying *just enough* that I may have been the real investigator... and then after I succeeded my attempt to royally screw over the town the next day resulted in a very un-productive day chat and my lynch, success. At least I have the advantage in this game that I may be allied with anyone.

I agree with you on the Ganondorf thing.
If I can get the Arsonist to target you, he'll undouse you. Of course I don't want to send people to you at random.
I think I'll target Ganondorf tonight. I'll once again say who I targeted, and tell him who I sent him to, but not announce that to the public. Then if his target ends up dead or blocked or something then if pressed I can lie about who he targeted and hope he wasn't just an innocent bystander to the action.
Or, of course, I could send Goremancer the Doctor to heal himself - it looks fairly pro-Town, yet the chance of a Lookout or bus driver on him is high so I doubt the Mafia will actually attack him, meaning I might stop Gore from healing the real victim.
This whole Valentine's Day business is going to keep me occupied but I'll try to check back in on occasion. I'll send my action to Yayap now (to make Gore heal himself) just in case I don't make it back, I can change it if you think it's a bad idea.

Hang on, why do I think Goremancer is the Doctor? I checked back through his posts and there's no mention of it I can find. Though from his demeanour he certainly sounds like the Doctor. I'm worried about this 'information' he wants to share with the Jailor - I was healed night 1 and didn't report it, if he is the Doctor maybe he thinks that I was attacked and didn't say anything to protect scum? I hope not, it's a standard 'When you claim Doc and claim you healed me I can confirm it' play - but he did out the Mason Leader.
I think I'll still make him target himself, I think wasting an action on himself if he is Town is good for my alignment (let me level up Yayap I want to have some fun! xD)

I went along with the Arsonist because we are/can be aligned with with him. I was trying to send him a message.. one he will probably be too dense to receive. I went above and beyond his expectations I am sure, and I posted arsonist in black in my original sheriff claim.. but I doubt he will understand.
However, if/when I am burned. The corpse should be unrecognizable. So that should help.

I'm tempted to try and fake being blackmailed with a fake claim. It gives me something to do in the chat, sends a message to the Mafia that I may not be acting in the best interests of the Town, and I can slip in the message that the Arsonist gave you and try to reach out to him. I'm not too worried about attracting a lynch on me, I'll be ignored and they'll move on to more important lynches.
Just bear in mind I may pull something like that, depending on whether you're facing some heat or I get bored with this inane day chat.

Use your best judgement. You may want to give day a few hours to see if anything interesting is brought up first.

Yeah I just want to see how things play out, but I don't enjoy not being an active participant in day chat and my main priority is taking advantage of the information you brought to the table.
