The old king has died without a valid heir.
The great lords of the realm have gathered to decide upon a successor from amongst themselves,
and to prevent future succession disputes from occurring, have decided to turn the kingship
into an elective title, to be voted upon by the most powerful lords in the country.

Description: You're a feudal lord outwardly professing orthodox faith but secretly the promoter of an influential heresy.
Ability: Collaborate with the rest of the Heretics at night to convert a Noble to a Heretic.
If you attempt to convert the Prince-Bishop, he will discover who you are.
You can use your factional conversion every two nights.
Ability: Check a person at night. If they are the Prince-Bishop, they will die.
Other: You share a night chat with the heretic.
You override the factional conversion vote.
You are immune to detection.
Heretic
Description: You're a feudal lord part of a secret cult with heretical beliefs.
Ability: Collaborate with the rest of the Heretics at night to convert a Noble to a Heretic.
You can use your factional conversion every two nights.
If you attempt to convert the Prince-Bishop, he will discover who you are.
Other: You share a night chat with the heretics.
Other: If the Heresiarch dies, a Heretic will become the new Heresiarch.
Prince-Bishop
Description: You're a senior landholding prelate in the realm, devout and loyal.
Ability: Visit someone at night to protect them from conversion by Heretics.
If they are a heretic, you will instead purge them of their corruption.
Other: You cannot be elected King. If you receive the highest number of kingship votes,
you will be publicly revealed as the Prince-Bishop and the next most voted person will become King.
If you are the only person being voted, a random person will be chosen King.
Noble
Description: You're one of the great peers of the realm, holding land under feudal contract with the Kingship.
Ability: None
King
Description: A former feudal lord elected to the kingship.
Ability: Every day, starting on the day you get elected, appoint players to the offices below,
granting them special roles that they can use, not supplanting any abilities/roles they currently possess.
Players who already have a night ability can only use one per night.
You must appoint all available offices. In the event that there are fewer players than offices, you get to pick which offices to fill.
Other: Your vote counts for 2.
Note: Some roles have different abilities depending on if the player appointed to them is a Heretic or not.
Such roles have their non-Heretic ability marked "Default", and their Heretic ability marked "Heretic".
In the event that a player becomes a Heretic after being appointed, their ability would change as well, if their secondary role has a "Heretic" ability.
