Notification when I quote another person

I never really thought about it until today but why do I get a quote notification when I quote someone else? Is that intentional?

I may or may not have quoted you and then deleted that post afterwards because of reasons.

it does show up in the quotes tab on the profile tho, so maybe you're seeing that and mistakenly assuming that's what the notification is referring to

Yeah, I am assuming that Ozy quoted me then delegated it leaving a notification and when I checked it I saw my quoting someone else in the quotes tab.
