Just wondering. Noone I know IRL was interested, but I managed to get a couple friends into it recently.

Anyone play connect 5 / Gomoku?

To be clear, I just know the rules and have played a few games. I'm not informed on any strategy or anything, either.

Imagine noughts and crosses but the grid can be as big as you want (normally 19x19) and you make 5 in a row rather than 3.

It is a highly intellectual pasttime, I have you know! Connect 4 is mere child's play!
