Role idea: Lawyer

Alignment: Mafia
The lawyer has the ability of making one role appear as a citisen to detectives each night.

Could be good for protecting mafia from the sherrif and also to make someone look like the gf to investigators if no citisens are in game.

Honestly I think this would be better served as a framer ability. It would fix some balance issues in the metagame that currently does not often see civilians. The "Your target is a member of the Mafia!" for sheriffs would not change but for investigators they would see that they are a civilian. This should be a option box however because it would not work well in games with civilians on.

I agree that it should be a framer ability, but I don't think it should be an option. When framers target their allies it makes them appear innocent/citizen.

Simple enough.
