You may post your serious threads here if you want them to remain serious and nice. This is also the place for extensive political discussions. Some additional rules apply here:

- No excessive trolling. Having fun is obviously allowed, but please keep it on topic.

- No thread derailing; severe and intentional thread derailing will be punished.

- No flaming. This rule isn't specific to this forum, but it's important enough to be reminder-worthy here. When coming to this subforum, you are aware of being at risk of seeing views you disagree with and accept this reality.

- Site rules (https://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/46468-Site-Rules) apply.

Failure to abide to those rules may result in infractions, obviously enough. Have fun and, who knows, maybe you'll even learn things :)

The real question would be: "why was this deleted in the first place?" ;)

What would non excessive trolling look like in a serious discussion or debate?

Also, same question for non severe, but intentional thread derailing?

Lastly, what's your opinion on posting obviously off topic or spam? Do they fall under any of the above rules?

Oh, thread spam is part of site rules. Should infractions be higher in serious discussion or nah

Harmless fun that people do not find annoying and that does not completely derail threads is fine. But stuff like random copypastas or insults out of nowhere would fall under that category (the latter would also more importantly fall under being inflammatory, but still).

I know this thread is a bit dated, but hey, good discussions never go out of style, right? Just a friendly reminder for those who stumble upon this old gem:
If you're looking for serious and respectful conversations, these rules still apply. No excessive trolling, stay on topic, avoid derailing threads, and let's keep the flames in check. And don't forget, site rules are always in effect.

were you like disappointed we didn't spam-o-matic you yet? lol
