(I thought the ban was only for starter accounts, so I went ahead and purchased the game but still got kicked. I now see that's it's based off account creation date.)

Thanks in advance,

Curiosity: How often are 'updates' rolled out? I've not been able to find that information around here. Mafia is the only reason I bought the game so I've been checking the forums several times a day. If updates are kinda rare, I can cut back my incessant lurking.

Also, thanks again for all the work you guys put in. I really enjoyed Mafia when last I played.

if you've played a while back couldn't you just log into that battlenet account again? Anyway arrow usually does an update about once a week

Bud, I wish I could. I pre-ordered SC2 about a year in advance, as soon as it was announced. I found I didn't enjoy it and learned my first lesson about pre-orders.

I've since moved about 4 times and changed banks, email accounts and everything else. If I thought for a minute I could find that log-in information, I'd hop right on it, but that's not really the case.

I installed SC2 to play some Mafia a couple of days ago. I heard that they banned F2P accounts, and I didn't mind paying for another copy, so I did. As it turns out, the F2P thing isn't the criteria used, so I've purchased it to no avail. Not that big of a deal though, I'll wait. A week isn't bad considering someone has to complete work to make it happen. Thanks for your answer.

We have our own "great firewall" which will auto kick new players to help against serial griefers creating new accounts to troll and ruin games after being banned. It isn't always in effect but relatively new accounts will have to apply for a whitelist to bypass it when it is. Shouldn't be long until Arrow sets you up to get in.

Updates go out a few times a week. Approved, you should be good within half an hour.
