Rolecards:

German Empire

You are an infiltration team of the German Army, sent on a mission to weaken the Russian defenses by destroying the Russian government in the capital of Petrograd.


Mechanics:

You start at 8 members.
During the first night, the General can assign every member of the team the most fitting task for them.
You can kill twice every night.
You lose one kill per night with every 4 members that die.



Bolsheviks

You are a member of the Bolshevik revolutionary forces. Tired of the oppression and poverty that the people suffered under the Russian Tsardom, you have decided to revolt and replace the Russian royalty with a Communist government.


Mechanics:

You start with two members: Lenin and Stalin.
Every night, the Bolsheviks vote to decide who to recruit and kill.
For every three members in the party, you gain one KPN.
You cannot recruit nor kill when both leaders are dead, unless the Anarchist has joined your ranks.
You win by controlling the majority vote and wiping out the power roles, the remaining peasants do not win with you.
Only peasants and Journalists can be recruited. If you attempt to recruit any other role, they will be informed that a Bolshevik attempted to recruit them.


German Army:


German General

You are a general in the German army, leading an undercover assault on the Russian government.


Abilities:

Every night, you can choose a target for the German forces to kill.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Spy

You are a German Spy working for the German army, snooping on people to figure out their occupation.


Abilities:

Every night, you can choose a target to investigate. You will be given a list of roles that it is possible for them to be.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Sapper

You are a German sapper, a soldier trained specifically in the use of explosives. However, the explosives you use are potent, and in order to use them, you must martyr yourself off for the good of the Empire.


Abilities:

Once in the game, you can target a player. All players that visit that player, the player themselves, and the sapper will die that night. This ignores immunity. The sapper cannot be healed when using this ability.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Forger

You are a German Forger, an informations expert trained in the skills of document forgery.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and supply an alternate last will to be revealed in place of their own. This ability is limited to 3 successful uses (targetting a player who does not die that night does not count for this).


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Medic

You are a German Medic, a soldier trained in field medicine for the purpose of healing injured troops.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and protect them from one kill that night.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Spotter

You are a German Spotter, a soldier trained in the art of observation.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and get a list of all players that visited your target that night.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Detainer

You are a German Detainer, a covert officer who forcefully detains suspects.


Abilities:

Every night, you can choose a player and block them from performing their night action.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Framer

You are a German Framer, an informations expert specializing in the planting of false information.


Abilities:

Every night, you can choose a player and frame them to investigative roles as any role of your choosing. You can also target fellow Germans.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Disposer

You are a German Disposer, a soldier specializing in the removal of evidence and identification.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player. If the player dies, their last will and role will not be revealed to the town.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.



Disguiser

You are a German Disguiser, trained in the art of deception and imitation.


Abilities:

At night, you can choose a target to disguise as. You will be told their last will, and then kill your target. To the town, it will appear that you died, but your role will be replaced by the role of your target. You will then be given the name and identity of your target.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.


Soldier

You are a German Soldier, an infantry troop loyal to the German Empire.


Abilities:

You can be sent by the General to conduct the German night-kills.


Win Conditions:

Kill all Russians.




Town:


Detective

You are a Russian Detective, an expert stalker working for the Russian Empire.


Abilities:

Every night, you can follow a player and discover who he visited that night.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Investigator

You are a Russian Investigator, an official tasked with finding out the occupations of possible suspects.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and find out a list of possible roles that they can be.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Doctor

You are a Russian Doctor, working to protect the citizens of the Russian Empire from nightly threats.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and protect them from one kill.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Actress

You are an actress, working at a theater by day, and as a whole other kind of entertainer at night.


Abilities:

Every night, you can distract a player from his ordinary duties, roleblocking him for the night.

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.






Nicholas II

You are Nicholas II, the Tsar of Russia. Your duties are to detain possible criminals and threats to the Russian Empire, and execute them if needed.


Abilities:

During the day, you can choose a player to take into custody, making him unable to access night chats or take an action, but also making him invulnerable. You can execute him if you deem him a threat to the Empire.
Can execute on lynch days, max three executions.
Targets in jail cannot be converted to Bolshevik


Win Conditions:

Armorsmith

You are an armorsmith, an honest, hardworking man making a living by crafting and selling bulletproof armor in these times of danger.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and give them a bulletproof vest. They can use this vest on any night they choose, which will protect them from one killing that night.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Teacher

You are a teacher, looking for a student to pass your knowledge onto.


Abilities:

Choose a player to permanently become your student. You will be able to speak to him at night. The student will know that you are a teacher, but you will not know their role. If your student dies, you may choose a new student.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Propagandist

You are a Propagandist, working for the Russian Empire


Abilities:

Every night, choose a player to inquire about his political views. If he believes in Communist ideology, you will be informed. That night, the player will not be susceptible to Communist teachings. If you target a German, he will kill you.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.






Peasant

You are a lowly peasant, working for the Russian Empire to earn an honest living.


Abilities:

You have the power of the vote and are entitled to your own opinion. You are discontent with the conditions in the Russian Empire and thus highly susceptible to Communist ideology.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Journalist (commoner)

You are a journalist, trying to provide factual and unbiased news for the masses.


Abilities:

During the day, choose a player you want to interview. The player can provide an article for you, which you will then anonymously publish and publicly hand out to the populace.
You keep your ability if you are converted into a proletarian.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.




Lookout

You are a lookout, an expert working for the Russian Empire, trained in watching the actions of people.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and get a list of all players that visited them that night.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Gunsmith

You are a gunsmith, a metalworker making guns for the populace to defend themselves in these troubled times.


Abilities:

Every night, you can give any player a gun. They will then be allowed to shoot another player or themselves once on any night.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Royal Guard

You are a member of the Royal Guard, a guard appointed by the Tsar to protect the Russian royalty.


Abilities:

Every night, you can protect a player with your life. If they are attacked, you will take the hit, taking the attacker down with you.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Militia

You are a member of the Petrograd Militia, tasked with finding criminals and enemies of the Russian Empire.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target a player and find out if they are a German or not.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.




Carriage Driver

You are the driver of a horse carriage, who makes a living on transporting the bourgeoisieto and from places.


Abilities:

Choose two players to give them a ride someplace else. The actions directed to one of them will be redirected to the other.
Your targets are notified that they were driven.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.



Veteran

You are a former trained soldier who fought against invading German forces, now retired due to a head trauma suffered on the battlefield.


Abilities:

Every night, you can choose to stay on watch. However, you’re pretty twitchy, and shoot anyone who sneaks up on you unexpectedly.


Win Conditions:

Neutralize the German and Communist threats, as well as any rival neutral parties.


Bolsheviks:


Vladimir Ilyich Lenin

You are V. I. Lenin, the leader of the Bolshevik Revolution. Inspired by a hatred of the Russian Empire, you strive to free the people of Russia from the oppressive Tsar.


Abilities:

Every night, you can target another player to spread the word of Communism. If the other player is a Citizen or Journalist, then they will be converted into a Proletarian. If they are any other role, they will be informed that you visited them, but they will not be told of your identity.


Win Conditions:

Stop the German invasion, establish equality (no power roles apart from Journalist) and control the majority of the votes.



Joseph Stalin

You are Joseph Stalin, co-leader of the Revolution. Recruited by Lenin for your hatred of the Russian Empire and skilled banditry, you strive to take over the Russian Empire and hold absolute power.


Abilities:

Every night, you can check if a player is susceptible to recruitment. If Lenin dies, then you will take his place as leader of the Bolsheviks.


Win Conditions:

Stop the German invasion, establish equality (no power roles apart from Journalist) and control the majority of the votes.



Proletarian

You are a proletarian, a member of the oppressed class who has seen the good of Communism and strives to overthrow the Russian Empire.


Abilities:

Participate in the Bolshevik night discussion and vote.


Win Conditions:

Stop the German invasion, establish equality (no power roles apart from Journalist) and control the majority of the votes.


Neutrals:


Anarchist

You are an anarchist, a violent revolutionary who hates the German and Russian Empires, but doesn’t agree with the Bolshevik ideas, either.


Abilities:

Can kill another player every night.
If Stalin is lynched by the time you change your win condition, you lose.
You are immune at night.
You lose your killing ability and immunity once your goal is accomplished OR* when you join the Bolsheviks.


Win Conditions:

Make sure the German General, Nicholas II and Lenin die at night. If any of the German General, Nicholas II or Lenin are lynched, then the Anarchist’s goal becomes to make sure Lenin (if still alive) and Stalin die at night, after which he becomes the leader of the Revolutionists and must lead them to victory.




Pagan

You are a vengeful pagan witch, prosecuted by the Orthodox Church for being a heathen.


Abilities:

Every night you can target a player and select another target for them.


Win Conditions:

Ensure that the Town loses.



Martyr

You are a religious fanatic who believes that public execution is the only way to salvation, thus you strive to be publicly hanged.


Abilities:

The player who casts the killing vote on you will commit suicide, while a random player who voted for your death will confess their occupation out of guilt.


Win Conditions:

Get lynched.



Arsonist

You are an arsonist, a violent pyromaniac who wants nothing but to light up the entire city in a spectacular display.


Abilities:

Every night, you can douse a player in gasoline. During the day or night, you can set fire to all doused players and they will be instantly killed, piercing immunity. Their name, last will and role will instantly appear in the graveyard.
You are immune at night.


Win Conditions:

Incinerate everyone, except for the neutrals.



Serial Killer

You are a serial killer, a crazed lunatic with a desire to disembowel and slaughter everyone in the city.


Abilities:

Kill a person each night. You cannot be killed at night.


Win Conditions:

Murder everybody, except for the neutrals.



Drunkard

You are so drunk on moonshine that you have forgotten your own identity.


Abilities:

A player’s death is so traumatic to you, that you decide to sober up and follow in his footsteps.


Win Conditions:

Finish what your predecessor started.

Rule updates:

Siding with revolutionists is against Peasant win condition.

Revealing anything game-related to another player outside of the game is forbidden. However using, for instance, skype, during in-game night solely with your teammates is allowed provided you post logs with timestamp in your night thread.

Mafia can target other mafia with their night action.

Victims of jail execution cannot be healed and lose immunity, but the jailor can be blocked.

Jail grants you night immunity.

The General is immune to detection by Lookout, Detective and Militia, but not immune to attacks. He does not show up as citizen to Lenin.

Rep messaging is allowed, while PMs aren't.

Jailor execution is not detected by detective/lookout
Jailor execution still counts as a visitation.
