The dusty floor of the building underlined the situation of the group. The plan was not to be here for more than a few hours. But it had been almost a week with no contact with the base. Rations were low, there was no more water. Morale was at an all time low.

But the real issue came the 8th day.

They awoke to a dense fog. The rain pattered against the roof above them. But where were they? None seemed to remember. Only that they were 9 strong. But there were now 11? All of them could not remember. The issue didn’t seem immediate. Perhaps they misremembered. But in reality they didn’t remember at all. In the sake of persistence, one suggested that they use their code names. A fine idea, right?

The next day, Watermeloann was found dead. A glowing knife firmly lodged within his spine. The urgency returned, if it had even faded in the first place, that is. They would have to resolve this mystery, and resolve it quickly, they couldn’t dare risk their lives. Something foul was afoot. A clear new threat. Perhaps, a
Secret Society

Well MM has mentioned that triad potentially exist? why have you not assumed that he is triad than? according to your own logic the only way to know that a specific evil faction is in the game is to be part of it. Ignoring MM doing exactly what you are accusing me of :thinking: potential alignment between cryptonic and MM forming.

I also refer to any scum factions as mafia. I feel simplifying the factions helps keep the town organized. During random setups where scum is referred to as armadyus, or armadyus followers, we refered to them as cult. in setups where there is terrorists ect, i still refer to them as mafia.

My first and only experience of 100% hidden setup was the "????" game, and the almighty scum lord was called Reality Bender, who could basically make stuff super weird and different. He made us think the setup was a quest for the holy grail lmao we had a Merlin the Wizard flip, while that role was very very far from existing.

Okay I'm back properly and flew over some shit so I could get caught up quickly.

First of all, this whole lynch debate is pretty stupid. I guess you could say that I generally agree with Magoroth that blink wanting to be lynched doesn't have to be town-motivated. I could see a Jester gambit being played like this and it's the most likely theory for me at the moment.
The thing though is that we do not know what the lynch does. Okay, maybe it doesn't actually lynch people or we have some tricky mechanics going on. I would totally rule out not being able to lynch by voting though. How is town gonna move forward otherwise? Have enough TPRs with night kills to replace the lynch? I don't know. I have to assume that this is still a balanced setup and not some kind of Reality Bender shenanigans because if it is then we're fucked anyway.

To me, the most logical conclusion is that the vote should be used as done in regular games. I don't think we should start out by doing the weirdest voting patterns right off the bat just because the setup is completely unknown. Let's assume that there's an EOD lynch, get enough votes on our most likely scum target and see what happens afterwards.

Desperate to gain town points. And on top of that MM's behaviour is the same as last game where he was scum. To me, that's a lot more telling than lynching inactives simply because they are inactive. Like, I get it, chances are good and I said that AIVION is a decent second choice, Gyr not so much in my eyes. But for a D1 lynch MM is a safe bet in my book.

We all have different rolecards, and those are a big puzzle. I even wonder if some of them fit with the two weird texts on host posts, but that's speculation. If you have any information that can help in your rolecard, SAY IT (without claiming), because rolecards are the only thing we are actually sure of about new information.
