This might add some more flavour to voting but make it so that if you vote and you get it wrong for your team then you have a 50% chance of being role blocked the next night/day .

Neutrals would be immune to this as they are a chaos element.

It might prove interesting to the voting stages, even if it's just a hosting option.

Or it could just make it terrible for mafia when they have to vote innocent on town or guilty on mafia. Or a mafia member get off clean from an early lynch, only for all town members to report it the next day getting the guy insta-lynched. Or any number of other things.

You can just not vote :P.

Doesn't stop the Town from instantly knowing they were wrong to vote someone innocent. Not voting already frequently looks guilty.

They know anyway when lynching or after anyway.

The thing is you may want to take that hit to avoid attention from the town.

Random lynching is not a design problem. You are suggesting adding an anti-idiot protection, but the sad truth is that you can never be protected.

Then there would be people constantly picking people to random lynch and get everyone to vote innocent on. If the person is innocent, the mafia would be roleblocked every night. If the person was guilty, the town would be roleblocked one night and they would have a definite person to kill. NO.

I think you have me confused the town would suffer not the Mafia if they picked an innocent.

The Mafia would suffer if they guilty vote another Mafia.

This is biased toward mafia\neuts. They MUST random lynch in order to win.

a possible solution to random lynching, dont play with idiots who random lynch! HURP A DURRRR. really if you think someone is bad at the game, dont play with them, tehre arent that many people that dont random lynch unless the situation requires it who arent banned from in house games, i have not seen an unnecicary random lynch in over 2 weeks, and if you think there is no point at which you HAVE to random lynch, ltp.
