It would be unwise to attack lovers so early on if you are mafia. Especially a mildly weakened mafia.
You lose a potential KPN. Lovers have a chance to become mafia, so it would be most idiotic of them to both claim and help the town.
Just as it is most idiotic of their teammates to even threaten them.

Unfortunately, if town believes me, and you don't kill me, then you all will be killed. :(
So your best bet is to kill me.

KPN is important in early game, or we'll be found and killed anyway.

The Lovers are actively seeking to wipe us out.

Actually. >: I would like to say that I had no part in Clyde's death, and rather, avenged him.
The Sharks had seen him as scummy and was going to kill him if not kill me for the lulz because of my name.
You can see in the Lover's chat that I was reluctant to have them kill off Clyde after this game is over.

But yes, Sumi is bad. :( Sumi is trying to kill you.

Right now, even if the town does not help the lovers, you'd have at best a 6 person Mafia trying to win against a 20+ member town now. With 1 KPN.

A 6 person mafia team is more than enough to take down town. In FM 4, you had a 6 person mafia team, a handful of neutrals, and 20+ town. Not to mention in this FM, you even have the ability to plan during the Day, which you have not even utilized to its full potential.
