EDIT: I neglected to update the "OffenderUsername" to JLander. Can this be changed or should I submit a new report?
Account Name: JLander
Account ID: 1-S2-1-4718461
In-Game Name: Enrico Giordano
Crimes Committed: Griefing
Your Account Name: gftgy
Summary:
This game immediately follows a previous game where JLander - though I believe not intentionally gamethrowing - really failed to pull his weight as the Dragon Head. Specifically culminating in a night against two (confirmed) town where he decided not to shoot either, resulting in his lynch the next day and a town victory. In the lobby, several people chastise him for his poor performance, with a couple even suggesting that he be kicked from the lobby. As the host, I state that being a poor player is not a bannable offense, and that he has to learn somehow. He states in the lobby that he doesn't care about what others think he should have done (paraphrasing) and that he's only going to "play solo" and ignore everyone else. I tell him that "playing solo" is not the nature of mafia , and that he should attempt to work with his team. He rebuffs me, reiterates his intent to "play solo," and I remove him from the lobby several times before the game forcibly starts. [Side note: How I long for a ban option in the arcade lobbies. Even with its potential for abuse, it would certainly cure many headaches.]
The game loads, I state that "this save [with an Any Random and no confirmed Neutral Killer] is maybe a little too complex for JLander, but we're going with it, so if there's someone acting extra special, you know who it is, cut them some slack." Day 1 I reiterate from the lobby: "Remember everyone, be nice to JLander, he has to learn somehow. JLander, remember it's not a solo game, buddy. You can win this, I believe in you JLander. You just gotta work with your team." (This series of statements was a context-appropriate and successful veteran-bait.)
JLander is a Doctor and sets his last will to "Sorry I sleep at night, I'm playing solo." He [U]fails to perform any night actions and continually votes against the majority of town, saying that he was suiciding, and generally acting like a Jester, eventually resulting in him being lynched by town. This seems like a textbook case of Griefing, and going against his assigned win condition.
Though Town did still win the game, he arguably cost the Jester - who was upfront about their role - their Jester victory.
