"Rick and Morty" by Frog (http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/37806-M-FM-Rick-and-Morty)
This balance-proven semi-open variant features classic roles, 1 Neutral Killer, 5 Mafia, and 15 Town. Purposeful day chat is emphasized by disallowing last wills. The Alignment Cop role featuring a randomized night zero true town peek, and the Godfather, and Neutral Killing roles featuring a night zero modifier choice allows for meaningful discussion to begin day 1. Rick and Morty themed flavor all squanching game.
"Fringe" by SuperJack (http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/32305-M-FM-Fringe)
A 20-player game with two separate day chats with 10 players each. Lynch occurs at end of day and the player with the most votes, regardless of day, is lynched.
"Election: 1960" by MattZed (http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/37404-M-FM-Election-1960)
The year is 1960, and presidential candidates Richard M. Nixon and John F. Kennedy are in a close race for the White House. Five Factions: the Far Left, the Democrats, the Independents, the Republicans, and the Far Right, are fighting to eliminate opposing factions from the political process.
The Independents take the role of the town, opposed by rival scum factions via the Far Left and Far Right. However, the Democrats and Republicans are small cults who must choose between siding with the Independents or their respective scum factions.
Do you have what it takes to discover your allies and eliminate your enemies? Vote for Election: 1960, and find out!
Poll will close in 14 days.

Shameless bribery: Everyone who votes for my game will be allowed to prefer a role.
Not disclosing how prefer process works yet for reasons of host meta, but it will greatly increase the probability of getting your desired role. Note that role preferences must be made via PM and cannot be shared with anyone.

I will match every offer made by other setups.
This so far includes MZ's "Prefer" mechanic.

For Fringe that would be perfect given that it's only 5 seasons so you could watch 5 1 2 3. We just pretend season 4 didn't happen.

Unfortunately yes I can confirm that cryptonic has ruined a lot of shows for me by forcing me to watch a random season thinking it was the first. I sit there through it all feeling so dumb because I cant keep up with what is happening since it doesn't make any sense :( and cryptonic just loves it thinking "it's so different to start a series like this"

Speaking of funny games.
There's a sign up for a big game at the moment (50+)
Everyone has 3 public day vigilante shots a day.
E.g.
You must post in thread:
"Shoot player X
Shoot player Y
Shoot player Z"
Moments later
"Players X, Y, and Z were killed, their roles were: X, y, z"

Lol. That will be an interesting social experiment. Reminds me of a game I think either RLVG or POD hosted where every single player was a vig and had 1 shot. 1 night phase would decide the game. I feel bad for the hosts trying to keep up with all those day actions.

Yeah, these types of 50-130+ player games happen once every 1-2 months. There are normally multiple hosts to process the insane amount of day and night actions. Wanted to give that "mash" type game a shot here, but we'd need at least 30 players. Maybe average 20% success rate per day shot per person or something.

I don't think we could pull 30 players from SC2 without massive replacement/lurker issues. It would require a decent chunk of signs from other communities to work well imo. And the risk would be drawing in players from outside communities with the potential of these issues still existing creating a bad impression for them of the site and its player base. It is a good idea though

The community feed is easy enough, especially if it's timed between mashes. The good thing about mashes with public day shots is assuming 20% effective day vig shots in a 30 player setup, that's minimum 6 players gone Day 1 during the day. This doesn't include modified rolecard a which have higher or lower % vig shots or NK's.
The element of public declared shots from virtually every player does a lot to develop actual reads which don't require a whole lot of posting. On the flip side, some roles require tiers of posting to enable varying tiers of night actions. For example: 50 posts enables your standard night action. 100 posts enables role cop. 150 posts enables alignment check. 200 posts enables strongman night vig. Etc.
*edit* the community note is very real though. E.g. The last FM MVP went to a lurker. Lol. Loooooool. Looooooooooooooool!

11 days left on the Poll thats like the 2nd of October.
Then you have the sign list for the game so give that another week.
So It would be Sometime after the 8th of October.

Well, it looks like SuperJack's setup is going to win. Well played, my British friend. I offer myself as a co-host if you would like one. =)
I offer my formal concession to a respected member of the community. It was about time for Fringe to win, and let's make it the best M-FM yet.
I would encourage my supporters to change their votes to SJ's setup to take advantage of the promises I caused him to make.
M-FM Election: 1960 will be returning in the next poll. Until then, the next 5-faction game will have to wait.

maybe Elixirs FM won't have design flaws that I see in Fringe.. if mafia are caught early in one day chat and are eliminated, anyone who can't switch to the other day chat is stuck in limbo land with nothing to do..... and yes, when there are no negative effects on anyone for 2 nights or more in a row, it's obvious that only town are left in that chat.... especially if 2 mafia from that side are in the graveyard. Also.... the spy roles will just be a bunch of full out copy pasting the other chat for the rest to see and will be confirmed spy or corrupt spy. Anyone who transports to another universe will be able to tell right away if the spy lied in anything to discover corrupt spy.
Sounds good in theory but I don't see this game turning out well in practice. As soon as the balance is tipped either to town or scum, the whole special mechanic becomes a problem in the later days.

if mafia are caught early in one day chat and are eliminated, anyone who can't switch to the other day chat is stuck in limbo land with nothing to do.....
Then it's up to the town too decide if the rest of them are town. I could make the factional kill more flexible. May need some thoughts.
and yes, when there are no negative effects on anyone for 2 nights or more in a row, it's obvious that only town are left in that chat.... especially if 2 mafia from that side are in the graveyard. That's up to the Mafia. I may just make it too highest vote lynches, thoughts?
Also.... the spy roles will just be a bunch of full out copy pasting the other chat for the rest to see and will be confirmed spy or corrupt spy
I'm thinking of giving the Mafia a permanent chat, thoughts? Also, sure they can copy and paste. But that will still be difficult to read and a mess anyway.
Anyone who transports to another universe will be able to tell right away if the spy lied iFTFY anything to discover corrupt spy.
The way the game will be setup. Means that this won't be possible. Each day will have a new topic for both universes. So people can only read back to what post they have seen before. And not others.
Sounds good in theory but I don't see this game turning out well in practice. As soon as the balance is tipped either to town or scum, the whole special mechanic becomes a problem in the later days.
