This role would have the abitly after night one to sell his services to anyone, allowing them to pick someone to kill. If the target is killed, they die like normal. He gets points each time he makes a kill or hurts someone.
If the person he sells his services to targets the contract killer himself, he dies instead of the contract killer, making it a small risk of you dieing if you order a kill. This allows you to figure out who the contract killer is if you order a hurt on sombody, and you are hurt instead. You can only use a contract killer once.
He wins if the town wins.

Interesting role, but don't know how he would select who to sell to and how they would have time to pick in the same night.

Sounds like a great idea.

Some issues:
1) I dont know if DR would be able to implement an accrued points system. It might be possible as it seems to work for jester, but it is not guaranteed.

2) I don't know if it is good that the client should be able to order a kill on the contract killer. This would just make the contract killer feel like not issuing a contract to avoid dying. Maybe it would cause the killer to be more cautious and therefore be a good thing, tough to say without playtesting.

3) Should the role be revealed to the client? If it isn't, then in the case of the client ordering a kill on the contract killer, the killer must die--which leads to the above problem. If it is, then whoever gets issued the opportunity to kill, will immediately know who the killer is and might reveal the next day, making the role extremely hard to win with.

4) What if the role you ask actually wants to use their night ability instead of killing someone. How would they be able to make that choice?

5) The hurting concept probably won't work and is redundant. You are basically giving the client an option to chose between being an sk for a day or an escort for a day. It is unlikely that anyone will want to be an escort.

Due to these issues, I propose the following changes:
1) Victory Conditions: Live to see town win. This way, town won't want the killer to kill himself, and the killer would try to avoid mafia roles.

2) The CK has to type a command like -client username during the day to order the kill.
Then as soon as the command is ordered, the to-be client can either accept or decline. If accepted, during night he will pick a person to kill, if not he proceeds with his daily routine.

3) Remove the hurting idea.

1: The Jester is where I oringanly got the idea from. This way, he is encouraged to kill. It was just an idea.
2: I think you misunderstood me. If the client orders the contract killer to kill himself, the client dies instead. The client would also likely need a way to refuse the CK. This way, he would not risk dieing if he didn't want too.
3: Do you mean should the CK name be revealed to the client? I would make this a tooglable option.
4: Good point... How would letting the CK offer his services only once per person. They could do both there night role and order a kill once. The CK night would have to be cut in half as well, to give the client time to decide.
5: OP edited.
1: Edited OP, is now like witch and mafia. Not a part of but wins with.
2: It could be this or half of there night is cut of in order for client to make choice.
3: Edited OP.
You are full of good ideas. Thank you for your help.
