IT IS NOW NIGHT 0

July 4th, 1960, New York City

A year later, and the Gambinos were still the most powerful crime family in all of New York City. Having successfully vanquished (http://www.sc2mafia.com/forum/showthread.php/34669-S-FM-176-Mafia-Wars) Luciano hitmen and an FBI agent a year ago, the Gambino family felt unstoppable. But in their arrogance, they had grown... sloppy.

That night, the family had been planning to celebrate their greatest accomplishment so far: electing one of their own as mayor of New York City. But as the hours ticked by, MattZed didn't show up to celebrate. Apparently the plan wasn't as successful as they thought: on his way to the meeting Mayor Zed was pulled over and arrested on corruption charges. The family was lucky he didn't make it; the meeting could have incriminated the entire family.

The FBI had clearly not given up on taking down the Gambino family. But they must have have had some form of help. The Lucianos were probably back to settle the score. It was time for Mafia Wars II to begin.

MattZed, the Corrupt Mayor, has been arrested by the FBI.

I actually like this post a lot from BCD- calix? Wanting an unbiased and unclouded perspective favors town because that person is most likely accurately viewing events and is easily able to find perspective and intent. GET= Between the three posts made, they haven't provided anything and have been mostly attacks on people.

Shifty seems to be getting scum read due to that post about Luciano over the FBI. It just doesn't seem to me like something that a scum would say, mostly because it would be too obvious and Scum would be more likely to over think their comments especially around the beginning when points are being made.

Logically insane is a very light town read (should have specified) because I can see where they are headed but they don't have a lot posted. I think they would be ranked at my #2 slot, though most people are null on my list due to the lack of posting (understandable)
