After the usual posturing, a white knight in the crowd singled himself out by presenting shocking information: undeniable proof of Ambient's involvement in Yayap's death. The mob of raging people would not be stopped after that; rather than wait for a slow death by crucifixion, they opted to stone him.
He was thrown in a pit below a hill, while the citizens arrayed themselves atop the hill, rocks in hand. The resulting impact of stones hitting the ground kicked up dust from the ground, and sight of Ambient was lost as the projectiles hit him and the area he stood upon. Some of the citizens ran down from the hill to accost him up close.
When the smoke cleared, he had vanished. It was not clear whether he was rushed away by one of the men who rushed down or he simply disappeared, but in any case he was clearly not dead. Justice was not served.
Predictably, emotions ran hot, fights broke out, and the Roman legion was forced to break up the forum early, sending everyone home for the rest of the evening.
However, one thing was clear in everyone's minds: Ambient is definitely a killer who is not to be trifled with.

Be aware that starting on Day 8, and every day since that day, the remaining sealed Demons will unseal themselves one by one. Lucifer must be dead for this to happen. If Sin is completely defeated and the game ends before Day 8, then this unseal pattern will not happen.
