Given this report involves a well-known member of the community and an allegation of hacking which would result in a permaban, I would suggest that Arrow or Lysergic review at the audit level anyway. Might as well stay one step ahead and have a Warden take an advance look given this will undoubtedly be appealed if we find the player in question guilty of hacking and permaban him.

So first things first, Skipper does indeed role quit as Investigator on d0. ID is correct; would recommend On-Hold due to no previous offenses (and it was also literally his first game - he enters his Bnet name at game start).

SoMuch names himself mckd at game start and rolls Sheriff. Player number 9.

He spends day 0 spamming that he's DH and that "9DH 2 ADMIN 13 FORGER."

N1 he checks 8 and gets a not suspicious result. He continues spamming the next day. NoPro uses -shout to say "you can use '-mute 8'". 4 mutes him and says so in chat. 9 immediatly responds by saying "im actualy sheriff" "4 is triad." He then says "town vote 4" "or im leaving."

Then, thinking that everyone muted him, he leaves.

This was neither hacking nor role quitting.

NoPro, I would say that you probably shouldn't use shout to encourage players to mute people. You could have simply said it in day chat. Just a note for the future.

Anyways, this was very clearly griefing/game throwing. He wanted to get 4 lynched because 4 said that he muted 9. He was willing to play against his win condition and give false results as Sheriff simply to screw over someone who muted him.

Given the player's extensive history, I would recommend a very long banlist for this player. I hesitate to say perma simply because I think we should reserve that for actual hacking reports. Therefore, I would say a MINIMUM of 8x Banlist is appropriate here.

I would just like to call attention to this report as well. Somuch has a habit of doing this day one or day 2, calling out someone and them being the correct role he calls out. I get it might not be overt "HUE HUE 10, 11 and 12 are triad triad and triad" but he's definitely doing something that gives him the ability to discover roles. So he's not being an obvious cheater, however, he has the ability of discovering who is what role and then airing them out and then quitting. He's done this too many times for it not be some sort of cheat. That's my unasked opinion on the matter.

We're aware of that report. We don't permaban people for hacking without pretty solid proof. And while we take player history into account when making a punishment decision, each report is judged on its own merits. In this case, I do not see hacking in this report, so my recommended punishment of a long banlist for griefing stands.

Lyser says this was me attempting to throw as town, which I would never do. I knew 4 was mafia by his reaction to the mod abuse incident with me being muted. If I wanted to give town a false lead I would have said 8 is mafia who had a much higher chance of being town since I checked him as NS.

Look at the audited replay of me on "sweet" where as vet i lynch all 3 mafia and 3 evils on day1/day2 with marshall. Pretty basic mafia tell... It is slightly embarrassing one of the few non retarded mods sees this as game throwing.

Also for future reference please don't use mod chat how it was this game, it affects the game negatively.

Upon reviewing the replay, I find SoMuch guilty of the crime of griefing for fake hacking day 1 "9DH 2 ADMIN 13 FORGER". Be careful with fake hacking because if you just happen to get it right, you will be punished for actual hacking. I would discourage you from using this tactic in the future. I do not find SoMuch guilty of game throwing, role quitting or any other crimes in this replay. Punishment will be reduced by 1 week.
