Part 3 wasn't awful, probably the weakest one of the lot but you ought to see it at least once.

I think Godfather II was over-rated. Absolutely fantastic film, but can't match the first one by any means.

After watching them all for the first time a few months ago, I probably liked part 2 the best although its close with the first one. Part 3 is good too so you should watch it although it is definitely the weakest out of the three.
