old one was imba, unless you can offer insight on how to correct it.

Improve the current crimes [Add more/change around]. Get rid of exact roles.

I've still been meaning to work on the crimes list to improve the current one.

I liked the old one better honestly, made it a lot easier to keep track on things and was way more fun. The new one i am still trying to figure out since i just came back to playing Mafia, but nevertheless i prefer the old one.

Imo pairings works better than crimes in SC2 Maf just because of the pace of the game. Crimes always seemed like an FM mechanic. With 54 roles, I think groups of 3-4 as Invest pairings would work a lot better than the current system.

Invest role is shit and needs balancing still. Requires someone to code the game. We dont have someone who is available.

I definitely agree. Pairings were best, but the pairings we had didn't work.
I think if we just didn't do things like "Smells like gasoline", and instead just listed roles, then we could group roles together more efficiently and balanced. But oh shwell lol
