Yeah, you can talk with living people, but obviously you can't reveal any info that a living player couldn't know, such as Rita's role and identity (which will be revealed in a minute) or your teammates if you are mafia, your role if you are sanitized and so on.

We are permitting this because there are people who would talk regardless, however please try your best to keep this game clean and high quality. (also philie asked me before pming you)

For Grave Robber things are even more difficult: he cannot read target's last will. He can steal action, but will be able to find out type of that role's action only after Night 3 - the night where he will put that action in use.

thats the most anoying part of fm, if you are away just for a few hours you miss soo much... what do you think about an posting limit like lets say once every ten minutes to be fair, would limit trolls aswell and make the single post more valuable...

We could've really used you alive, there's some weird logic going on around down there :P

Tracy I'm sorry we killed you... but Raiden/Illidan were kind enough to take our suggestion and run you over with a train.

When Shawna accused me I thought "I can either play it safe and claim Cit, but still probably get lynched (if not lynched, role checked that night and found out), or I can claim Vigi, maybe be safe, and if investigated maybe be okay". As soon as I hit Post I remember about the day shooting...

Oh well I expect there'll be a lot of disparaging remarks about my play from there on, but I attempted to probe multiple angles. The Yuffie thing was just funny, I figured no one would CC it, but I didn't know if players were notified when Yuffie stole from them. Since my Vigi claim didn't draw out any CC, I thought I'd say I was jailed. Quite frankly, is that *so* unbelievable? I didn't think it would work but I thought the Jailor would at least have to reveal himself to disprove me (I figured the jailed captive may have been the Turks killer so he wouldn't disprove it).

Of course I was a dead (wo)man from the beginning... but I'm really satisfied with some of the confusion I sowed when I left, my fellow mafia were facing some heat, and our plan was always for me to divert the attention of the forum and be a martyr.

Yeah my defense was totally built on the fly, I just didn't expect a Sheriff claim on me so soon. It wasn't help by the fact that there were like 20 posts a minute, it was past 2am for me and every time I tried to post someone else was levelling some new criticism at me :P My tactic of not lurking but not being too town-leading kinda failed. Immediately being targeted by people like Fiona, Warren and Yren didn't help. Once you're accused in this game if you try to defend yourself - you're scum, if you stay quiet - you're scum, if you try to ignore it and use reasoning to find others - you're scum. On the absolute absence of ANYTHING to go on except a Sheriff pointing out a guilty Mafia I knew I was done. Of course, George being cryptic about Shawna came randomly amongst the spam and I didn't really have time to put it to my advantage. The Yuffie thing was a longshot but enough of a curveball... but since CEST is even later than my GMT I couldn't get an answer to my question so just tried to out the Jailor ^^

I knew I looked scummy, but I maintain that up 'til Shawna's reveal everyone voting me was suspicious as hell.

Well I think it was just a random decision. We had a few players we wanted to kill - you hadn't actually come up on my radar at all Arthur, I voted for you because you were pointed out by another mafia but I didn't have the deciding vote. I was more concerned with getting a train kill. Tracy was more helpful to my secondary objective but I don't think that entered

In all of your conjecturing, you have indeed hit upon Shinra Inc members. I still think you may be surprised. If you knew exactly who they were you might understand some of my more 'exotic' actions (despite my horrible play I hope Raiden/Illidan will at least concede I made the most out of the hole I dug myself in).

To be honest I just got fed up with a few of the players who made it clear that they would stubbornly refuse accept any other conclusion than me being expendable. If I claimed Citizen they'd most likely have lynched me anyway to test Shawna. I figured I'd play the Mafia with insider knowledge, they'd know I had a Consig on my team and they already knew a killer had been stopped - if Riley slipped up in questioning and felt forced to say he 'was' healed or bus driven or something, then we might uncover more town roles willing to prove him wrong. Let's face it, I was unlucky and the only way to talk myself out of it with that crowd would have required almost perfect play and timing - I chose to be the martyr and confuse an already paranoid town. Quite frankly some of my fellow Mafia are making just as big mistakes as I am, it's always easier to analyse than act :)

I didn't actually want Tracy cleaned, but I'd gone to bed before they did all that and set their codes. The fact that you were the Coroner is... interesting. God I wish I could see Shinra chat right now, are they cursing my stupidity or worrying about their own hides?

That's why I stopped with the full roles list and I now roll with just a list of scum. Now Lionel has confirmed that I have at least one red mafia on my list. Keep in mind that the purely random chance of me getting one red mafia is 1/3 (11/33). I could just be lucky. Oh, also keep in mind that Phillie said that I died for resembling Fred too much. This came across as somehow her fault. imo Phillie is the serial killer. She could also be a really good player who understands people. But that's not the vibe I got from her PM. It sounded like she wanted to know who she killed. let me get the two PMs....
