Since the game mechanics don't say, I would say as many as you can afford. I contacted Yayap with this question, so its tentative.

Confirmed: If you have charges, you can spend them as you wish... so if you want to save up for 3-4 days and spend them all on day 5 with a bunch of actions, be my guest.
