The family gathered for dinner. The brothers and sisters discussed the ailing grandmother, made rich but run to death by the farms and mines and factories of cookieclicker, and what was to be done with her estate. They discussed amongst themselves, but soon turned to arguing. Who deserved the estate the most. Who had earned it. Who had supported their grandmother the most. And who would do the most to acquire it...

The lights flickered and the family members could hear, from upstairs, the cries of the grandmother. They quickly moved to the cries, only to find the grandmother laying on the bed, drenched in water with an exposed wire laying across her.

The clock struck midnight and the bellowing sounds of death could be heard through the room amongst the sharp sparks of life as the family looked amongst each other, terrified. The electricity was cut off, but not before the grandmother could be saved. Calls were made to loved ones that were unable to make it that evening, as well as the hospital and police department, but being on a private island it would be days before anyone would arrive... It would be up to them to figure out what had happened and who was responsible.

I have played 12 FMs and several S-FMs on this forum and I've been around for about 25x as long as you, thank you very much. I ask because I'm not used to being so... harshly questioned in post 9 of day 1. You bet I'm gonna vote Banshis based on meta reasons: as far as I can tell, I have no reason not to. Porio just gave me an opening :D To be honest, while your straight-to-the-point playstyle can be interpreted as pro-town, I find it suspicious.

I find it highly likely the gunsmith will give himself a gun unless witched tonight. It might actually be hard to tell presence of serial killer, if mafia accidently no-kills.

No kill tonight: Mafia both used ability
1 kill: Sk or mafia kill
2 kills: Sk + mafia kill (duh)

But only 1 neutral is possible. I find it doubtful we have 3KPN, but likely we could have 1.5/2. So either a blacksmith or a serial killer, but very likely not both. Or a bodyguard at the least, but I think bg is quite powerful in this setup.

Can journalist add anything to the published article or is it only based on words by the interviewed player?

Town role wise, I find it likely power roles consist of:
Doctor or bodyguard (but not both)
Escort or sheriff
Journalist or Blacksmith

I think it would be wise to not discuss mafia role possibilities since someone can slip a hint in with that (all they have to say is what they think each role should do and boom, since mafia know teammate roles).

He seems like he is just trolling this game. He doesn't put much effort into any of his posts. He doesn't really try to respond to anything. In previous games he usually put effort into scum hunting and when he was scum in Half Life he put a lot of effort. I feel like he is trying to play it off as a benign neutral personally. The way he is acting just says neutral to me, but since I think it is a serial killer.

With only a few hours to go on the day the party began to question Kusco. Their demands became more and more angry as he was silent. Suddenly, from behind, Bunny began the attack, hitting him with a candlestick from the dining room. "It has to be him!" she screamed at the others. Sen, 42shadow42, and Ika joined in in the assault with pieces of pipe, wrenches, and even a kitchen knife. "Get back." they heard from behind them. They turn to see AppleyNO at the other end of the room with a hand gun. They step aside and immediately hear an ear piercing shot.

The party was at a loss for words for hours after what they did to Kusco. Some shook. Some screamed. Some felt their skin quiver.
