At the back of the great temple lies a humongous graveyard. Aside from an eerie cold breeze that sweeps through the cemetery, a deathly quiet grants it the an atmosphere befitting a place such as this. Many a headstone is unmarked, the cause of which may be that the inscriptions have worn in time, Korgan suggests that it could also be that in a settlement where the Lord of Murder reigns, some victims simply won’t have anyone left to identify them. And even if they had, the survivors may decide for their own safety that they’d be better off not revealing their association with the deceased.

Even so, it’s certain that like most everywhere else in the city, the graves have fallen into ruin. Some headstones are broken or just gone. And there are even some graves that are open, revealing the bones of those buried.

The group is suddenly alarmed by a wail the breeze carries to them from somewhere closeby. Despite Alora’s urging that they should probably leave this place as soon as possible, they go to investigate where it came from. It is heard again another time, louder as the adventurers close in, but then no more.

In the darkness, Coran almost stumbles over an old shovel sticking out of the barren soil. Beside it stands a headstone that remains whole, apart from a few small cracks in its surface. Atop the grave, which seems undisturbed, lies the skeleton of a human, the fingers of his or her bony hands clutching an obsidian dagger and a hand mirror with a frame of ivory. Garrick reads the words inscribed on the headstone out loud:

“You did not see the grand scheme of things.
You heard, but did not listen.
Now you lie here.
Soon with none to remember you.
We all are pawns in life and in death.
Even I.
Even you.”

When they finish, the wail is heard again. This time much closer. And it’s only now that the group spots the figure that has been observing them. It is a young man clothed in dark robes, like those of a monk or priest. His hood is off, and he is staring at the adventurers with a pair of black beads for eyes. The man’s translucency suggests that he must be a ghost of some kind. And while his appearance is somewhat menacing, it does not look like he’s an immediate threat.

Valygar clears his throat and asks “who are you, spirit?” But the apparition does not reply.

“Is this your grave?” tries Yoshimo as they point towards the headstone of which the inscriptions were just read aloud.

It takes a moment for the spectre to reply, though a few moments later his lips part and a hollow “NO.” emanates from his mouth.

This is a lateral thinking puzzle. You may ask the ghost questions in pink, answers will be given in teal.

There may be some time before the ghost responds. He's a bit braindead, so he needs time to consider his answers.

Answers will only be yes or no. Open questions will not be answered. Questions about the solution to the main puzzle also will not be answered. Finally, if you ask the ghost a question about something he simply doesn't know, he will not answer either.

The solution you propose must be a summary of what you think has happened here. If all the required elements are included, the answer will be deemed correct. If any one element is omitted, the answer will be wrong.

Reminder:
Each group must vote for a “volunteer” to test their solution. Note that someone can be forced to take this position against their will. Whoever gets the most votes will be charged with the task. In case of a tie, the volunteer will be randomised to break the tie.

Voting for a volunteer uses the same formatting as voting to lynch someone, with [ vote ] [ /vote ] tags around their name. A majority doesn’t lock the vote. The tally at the end of the night is used.

Solutions can be proposed by anyone, whether they’re chosen as volunteer or not. A solution is proposed in the puzzle chat using the following format:

Unfortunately for the explorers, all of these locations are heavily trapped. If a wrong answer is given by the volunteer, he has a 66% chance of being struck by a trap and die. Having no proposed solution counts as a wrong answer.

If he is correct though, he will be awarded with a clue in his night feedback PM and the puzzle location will be closed.

So one cannot be Bhaalspawn and cult at the same time.

I see what you're saying: it is cool how the hosts managed to tie in the plot to what we are trying to accomplish as we speak. The Bishop wants us to explain where, how, and why Ammon died as well as the circumstances of his burial, I believe. Based on the setup, I'm guessing he was attempting to solve the main puzzle.

All you would have to do is survive tomorrow and solve the puzzle yourself by withholding our precious clues further, and rain down kills on us through the cult.

I do enjoy logic puzzles such as these, and will definitely be around the next day and a half - and will propose the solution in time for the night end. And of course if I am chosen and live, I will reveal the clue instantly unlike this fool.

I highly doubt that the Diviner will be "unable" to deduce who provided which clue. Also I think it's safe to assume that the Diviner will retrieve Ajantis' clues. And I definitely believe the Diviner over both of you.

This one never seemed to have tasted the true delight of a logic puzzle. This puzzle is, as Cespenar pointed out, a lateral puzzle.

Because Cult has a problem to lynch a Bounty Hunter? A Bounty Hunter can pretty much forced into doing Town's bidding because he needs to survive until the very end. Also he is conversion immune which makes it impossible for the Prophet to convert or manipulate him. And he has one auto-vest, meaning Cult would have to use two night kills to get rid of him should he side with the Adventurers.
It is quite clear that Nalia contracted Anomen. How else would he have killed Mazzy. I was wrong about Anomen's role though.

Korgan suggests whatever you do, don't send Adjantis for the riddle.

Korgan guesses that the story will have some kind of irony to it. As usual. Something like Ammon and Bishop tried to kill the "old high priest" together while Ammon came earlier to the party. He killed the old high priest and took the Artifacts from that guy while he was burying him. Bishop thought that the old high priest killed Ammon before he had the chance to help him. But he looked like the High priest from behind thanks to the mirror sparkling or something like that. So he accidently killed his friend and went suicide out of remorse.
