Here are some things I think the game would run better with:

Save screen

-Only players with saves should be able to set up the game

-It would be nice to know how many extra roles there are so hosts can better plan which order to remove roles in.

Any Random

-Any Random is sometimes used to mask troll saves. (exclude town + exclude neutral = a mafia in a save that people won't know to repick.) I have never excluded benigns and enabled only mafia + town, and seeing as to the best of my knowledge no one ever does that, can we just remove the exclude neutral option?


Crier

-Can we have a crier excluded from town power option so he can be town random, but not hazard the power slot

-Crier as unique option would be nice, seeing as multiple criers is generally a silly proposition.


Vigilante

-An "-unload" option that allows a vigi who hasn't fired yet to use all of his bullets on a target and ignore night immunity


Town Core

-An option that swaps sheriff for investigator


Executioner

-An option that delays his target from being chosen for a day or two
-An option to make him Rb immune (to make him more suspicious)
-Option to become survivor (without vests) upon failure rather than jester

why does executioner need to be suspicious?
and why would it be better for him to be a survivor upon failure?

there is a 2 vote. don't check 3 or 4

i'm not sure exactly what you mean in the any random suggestion...

Executioner is easy to win with, Jester is easy to win with, executioner turned Jester is easy to win with, executioner turned weak survivor is hard to win with. I'd like the option so that in some games town could have a reliable way to deal with an executioner who has earned their ire.

i'm not sure exactly what you mean in the any random suggestion...

Sometimes people use any random to hide a 4-5 mafia build. Seeing as people don't use Any Random as a mafia/town, removing the ability to exclude neutrals would be wise

why would the town be angry with a failed executioner?

4 mafia save is balanced. even 5 vs 10 could be balanced. why take out the opportunity for people to play them?
and it would take a while before pubs realize that any random excludes neutrals. it wouldn't accomplish much.

He is referring to saves like "3 mafia, 1 neutral killing, 3 random any, 8 towns" in which Random Any is 100% mafia. This kind of setups is obviously not balanced, and players cannot see through it until the game starts.

then what i propose is to make the role settings viewable by clicking. not allowing players to edit rules, but they can click on any random and see the settings
what say you slaol?

I would love a player counter.. I find that players that do not stagger their save for lost players have to randomly drop rolls until the start button lights up. A good host would benefit quite a bit from this.

I would love for crier to be unique and have brought this up before.

Vig unload sounds fun. Might be easier to just make an 'Ignores night immunity' option. I feel like the strings would be needlessly complicated.

I REALLY support this Exe Idea of holding off a target for 2 days. I cant remember the last time I did not get my win as an Exe day 1. It is just way too easy. Giving 2 days to have some claimed invests out there would really make this role more fun for everyone.

I do not support the AR option and it is phrased rather poorly. There is no 'Exclude Benign' option and I support the role exactly how it is. Most saves have a D1 and I use that D1 to read through the save options and usually call out 'Any random is actually any mafia' when I see gambits like this.

I support Crier staying in town power. I feel that crier is by far my strongest role because it lets me dump all sorts of behavioral analysis on the town as a confirmed town while they can not run their mouths and distract etch other. People that feel crier is useless just don't know how to play. You have to be pretty damn good to be a strong crier and if you cant make the cut- Stick with humor. I love either play in this role.

I am indifferent about the town core option..

I am indifferent about the RB ExE action. It would just make an Escort more powerful which would be nice but it is kinda silly with the ExE not having a night action (Unless the RB prevented the ExE from getting a target)

I do not support the survivor option for ExE. Looks like way too much coding with the no vests for something so petty and I love my Jesters. They always make me smile.

If you hover your mouse over the role list you get options. If you click 'Help' You get a full list of options as well.

This would be good. However, not certain if it is something we will be bothering with for a while. We tend to kind of just accept troll saves as going to happen xD

What about saves with vigilante with only one bullet?
Meh if he only have one bullet, he still should be able to kill immunity because of just one kill

If vigilante already shot at least once, this option should be immediately removed after first shooting.

I strongly agree with boss on post #7. We should be able to hover our cursor over Any random or actually everything and see its options for it.

Crier should be alone, its hard enough to get people to actually listen to you when you are a solo crier because they expect the trolling, but with all of that clusterfuck, they won't follow your leads and most of the time the other crier is complete troll

For the town core, investigator can detect exact role is the reason why invest can be more powerful than sheriff so I disagree with this.

I kinda like Exe have to wait like a day or two to get his target. I am very against Exe becoming a survivor. There is already an option that exe have to survive until the end and he doesnt have to be immune at all.
Heres the format

Exe
Target is always town - you decide
Become jester upon failure - off
Exe is always immune - off
Must survive until the end - on

There is already a role counter on the setup screen, it's directly under the role list.
