If we are invisible the entire time it looks like we have something to hide. If we have it off during the day then people will see us on and assume that when they don't see us at night we aren't in fact spending long hours in night chat with our scum buddies.

Yes I suppose they could notice the hidden numbers spike at night and figure out who never logs on at all during night. So perhaps a brief one time log on then invisible?
