Are you all just DYING to know what Parker and Galloway are talking about in their hidden codes in daychat? Well I'm going to post Parker's soma note to Galloway here so we can decode their messages and be in the loop.

This message will be brief and unidentifying. I believe Ballard and Hopgood are savages and that they have targeted Parker. I do believe the alleged bus driver got it right that Parker is blatantly town (even though he's an arrogant ass). There is of course a slim chance that the [BLEEP] is mafia. Please come up with some other reason to lynch Ballard and Hopgood on Day 6. We don't want the savages to decide to kill Parker. Day 5 we should lynch Cafarelli. I will have to lie low as I don't want to draw attention to myself as the mayor. I am pretending to be a delta, and will lie if necessary. It matches my investigative pairing. This message may sound like that asshole Parker. I'm adopting his (or is it her) COM.

If you are a delta, please put scummy in quotes in a post before midday. If you are not a delta, underline bold or italics the phrase scummy before midday.

Also, as consistent with my duties as mayor, I'm using this as a journalist post. It allows for the tracking of soma. You are expected to respond in a manner that confirms receipt by midday on day 5. If you pass this, you are expected to do the same. If you use the soma, include the phrase "scumtell" as soon as possible in day 6 without being awkward. If mid day arrives on day 6 and you have used the soma, use the code phrase as soon as possible.

FM Buchwalter got the first soma. Expect your name to be passed on in the future as a soma receiver.

question to code pros: howhard is it to crack this code and how can it be cracked? or can't it? i know it would be very easy if they always use the same combination for one letter but they don't. so linguistic frequency analysis doesnt work, does it?

I mainly depends on the size of the sample. If there are no repetitions in the combinations with large enough spaces in between the used letters, it is nearly impossible to crack. But we know that they are parts of actually sentences. That means we can check if our substitutions match into an actual sentence. So as long as he does not overuse it, he should be fine.

The Mayor would have been meaningless to kill at the time you were alive Cafarelli. The only reason I see for you to have not been healed is because Parker was still saying that you were possible Consig.

I will say again, I think Parker is doing a horrible job as Mayor. He has only been lucky so far, and the only reason he is not dead is because he is easy to misdirect. This of course just make me think Parker is even worse for not knowing this.

This was partly a failure on my part, I should have done the math sooner. My whole reason for giving the Soma to our Godfather was mostly that he had an auto-vest, So that way we would not lose it to a stray Savage kill. I think I said this in night-chat too, but I do not remember clearly.

It was not even part of the plan, like I mentioned above. The plan was to not use the Soma so soon, maybe even wait for more Soma to enter the game.

But I had not done the math and suddenly we had to use it or lose it.

The reason i selected you was mostly cause I wanted to hear your view on my questions, I said this during the day as well. One of the very few lies i did doing this game was saying that I was a Delta.

Sadly I listened to much to my team at night and they talked me out of revealing you early during that day, this seemingly made me look more scummy then you.
