Im new to FM help!!!!!

Hello this may sound stupid but is there a place that tells me the rules of FM the roles of FM and such because I am planning to play an FM but don't know how or the roles if there is no such place then can you please tell me rules roles and such.

for roles and game-specific information, view the game's Setup Thread. In the Setup thread, there will be a list of possible roles, as well as a rolecard for each one.

It's a good idea to read the setups before signing a game, so you know what the game will require of you.
