Now, religion wasn’t exactly that big of a deal in the brave new world I created. But somehow a Bishop, FM Bishop, that man took up solace here in my London. He seemed to enjoy it very much.

A man of fundamentalism and fortitude, he sought the truth for God and himself, or so he said. A bit of a stalker, one might say, but he’d refer to himself as a Detective.

But he gave in, gave into the soma that killed his friend Gage. Maybe he was pent up in his introversion for God, and released it all in a massive overdose... but it didn’t matter now.

He was dead.

Maybe he went to heaven.

Um things of note so far:

Two Interviewee messages makes me think there is a journalist and a corrupt journalist based on balance and the fact that two journalists are pretty much never heard of from what I have seen.
Why was the three bus driver feedbacks not more openly discussed? If irecall right discussion was attempted but it drastically got sidetracked. Anywho collect that bus driver feedback so we can be sure of what is going on.
That lynch yesterday should provide some sense of information that can be gathered. We should talk about it today. The issue after this is to lynch or not lynch, whereas I am voting for lynch based on our superior numbers and the fact that mafia have been two for two TPR kills.
Feedbacks people. Give em up. Need those to narrow down that role list.

If you want to know why I delayed my claim, it's because 2 others claimed bussed.
I wouldn't have claimed bussed if only one other person had claimed. That is, in case at a future date the bus driver needed to confirm himself, he could do so through me. However, when two people claimed bussed, I had no idea if I was actually bussed or dealt a drug.
So I opted to release that information into the open for discussion and to help formulate a basic role list.

I'd be careful with what you say, I wouldn't want you to be modkilled because you hinted your COM by telling your timezone. (not many people have that timezone and it really limits who you can be)

The first step to analyzing the journalists' notes is... determine what questions were asked, and consequently not asked.

I think the investigator note was written by a consigliere and not an invesigator. The line "The behavior of my target wasn't very suspicious" suggests that the investigator was checking people who weren't suspicious. Why? Investigators should be checking the suspicious ones.

The second note also reads like a corrupt journalist, fishing for his own information on who the mafia is. The recipients did not post the questions they were asked. However, I find it telling that the second respondent did not include what roles s/he thought were in the game.

The last part "the connection between five people" sounds like a response to "Who do you think the mafia is?"

The first note has no such question. Why not? I cannot realistically see a corrupt journalist leaving this question out as it's his or her best tool to finding the mafia and communicating with them.

The second note is also left by a skilled player who is a fan of codes. Codes, so I'm told, are common to protect against ventriloquists and the like.

For the second interview, keep in mind that it could also be a savage investigator. Not that it really matters to us since either way it's probably a scum. The unfortunate thing is that since one of those articles was commissioned by a corrupt journalist, we probably will never find out who wrote the article. Come to think of it, I just checked and journalists can be savages too. So we might not have a town journalist at all, but two evil ones instead. That's a scary thought.

I believe that Oops changed the vote counter to erase all votes upon a lynch because there was an issue with SFM hosts being unable to re-open their game threads. Rocshi almost had me do manual vote tallies to avoid this problem, but in the end we decided to just use the vote tags. Besides, the vote counter doesn't display votes in order. If you like, report the problem in the Answer Hall, and maybe we can get a vote counter update.

@ Cafarelli, sorry to hear that I have lost your trust, but I have said everything I have to say on the matter and no matter how many votes are put on me, the information that I got will not change. Not unless the hosts screwed up.

I do however have some questions for you, yesterday, you were the first one to suggest that I might be lying about the poison, as I said before, only the mafia knew for sure if I was poisoned or if I was drugged. I'm not throwing any accusations, but I must question your motives for your quick attack on me. It would be conceivable that the mafia wanted to put my credentials in question and push a lynch on me during the game. Especially since if I didn't lie, it exposes one of their roles as a drug dealer.

As for my view on the invest journal: yesterday we found 3 roleblock claims, and the invest found someone that would fit into one of those roles. If he does not think that person is acting suspicious, then he probably thinks he found an escort and not a consort. Why are you determined for an invest to reveal a possible towns PRs? Until this morning, we didn't even know that there would be 2 news articles.

If you want to know why I delayed my claim, it's because 2 others claimed bussed.
I wouldn't have claimed bussed if only one other person had claimed. That is, in case at a future date the bus driver needed to confirm himself, he could do so through me. However, when two people claimed bussed, I had no idea if I was actually bussed or dealt a drug.
So I opted to release that information into the open for discussion and to help formulate a basic role list.

Hmmm... I can't really argue about your tactic since its something I normally would do all the time. However, the way you presented your information was rather odd.

Well first, I'm far from confirmed town, I wouldn't expect anyone to consider me as such either. Just as I don't consider all town leaders as town. As for the many feedbacks, I agree that someone is lying somewhere, 3 bus claims and 3 roleblocks + invis ink taking up the blackmail (hope to get this confirmed later) seems like alot, I have a few hunches that I'd like to pursue on my own without tipping my hand to those I have my eye on if you don't mind. I might give more info later in the day.

1- I had found the second batch of accounts pre-game, they were created just before n1 and were showing up on the newest member list. Found the others when Artaxerxes came online.

2- Well, having poisoner in the role cards and not getting one, they had a one shot deal to make town think they were dealing with one, my guess is that they wanted to direct the doctors. No PRs claimed yesterday so they may not have been able to use that plan to full effectiveness, they probably didn't expect me to ask not to be healed either.

3- I rather keep that to myself if you don't mind, I know just as much as you do for feedbacks.

4- umm, well, actually there would be. If a townie tried this gambit using the ultimate plan that you pointed out, and hoped that there was a mafia architect or grave robber that took town architect n1, and ended up in a night chat with the mafia thinking that he was one of the neutrals, he could have gotten some or all the mafia names and busted this game wide open. I think its an invest based off of what was said and what he held back. I think that if it is a consig, he wouldn't risk getting cornered into giving investigation results for the rest of the game through news articles, it makes it really hard for him to claim later if he wants to give fake results.

I have a hunch, but not much to go off of right now. I prefer not to give up who I FoS and let it play out, I usually gain more evidence later on if they are not pressured and aren't aware that I'm watching them and can make more of a solid case against them.

McKelty was put under pressure too fast and had nothing to defend himself with... mainly because there was no evidence against him to start with. I rather not start a train until I find out more, this town thinks that pressuring people will get that person to give all the answers by pulling them out of a hat.

But anyway cohen right now was probably drugged/blackmailed the poison. If he was blackmailed he would be cleared and gotten the feedback. So right now I see him having the potential to be a scum but at same time he has been pretty pro-town with things.

Bekowsky: I find it odd for him on day one says interesting night and leaves a vote. Today he pretty much does the same thing. For me its not much that I can base it off. But combined with the lurking I might consider him potential mafia (consig maybe). Like any mafia (look at any game that has congis) They always make a code. Here he might be trying to play consig under the radar but making one or two posts to tell mafia what he found and then just wait for nightfall.

Some things that I'd like to look into that I brought up yesterday but somehow got shelved are:

reply 200 - no one tried to follow up on this, in fact Colmyer suppressed it by re-enforcing that he was sure that all 3 roleblocks were genuine due to them saying they got non standard feedback. What wasn't even looked into is that they could have gotten non standard feedback from something else like their own role and not to mention that once the topic started, some people had time to be alerted not to claim standard feedback.

I agree with Bishop, but how do you follow up? We can push for more info(which is why Mason is on my list), but there are three so it makes it more difficult.

Tell me about the mafia and why you think they are mafia. Mafia is only a size of 5. Even if you say X, Y, Z is mafia. The mafia would have to have huge discrediting and discrimination against that person. Day 1 is more of an exception of that. But as days go on they will have a harder time discrediting towns due to the fact that several days have gone by and we have people who can help solidify their defense or they can use past things to defend themselves. In short run it might work for mafia, but in the long run it will only hurt them.
