The 20th of August saw Cosenza forced to use barbaric measures to enact justice in their town. With the destruction of the gallows, they had erected a beam surrounded by firewood before commencing the forum for the day. The beam waited patiently for it's victim.
In the town square, the arguments continued just as they did the days prior with evidence being raised, claimed, refuted, slandered but rarely accepted as fact. Finally the town had agreed to put the seemingly insane "Narks" to death.
As the town strung Narks to the beam, he didn't even try to claim innocence, he just asked that they pass on the legecy in his home after he had died... The town disregarded his, at the time, seeming insanity and lit the firewood. Narks screamed as the fires consumed his body, until a torched husk remained.
Some members of the forum did go to investigate Narks' house... what they found aside from Narks' sheriff's emblem was something they had never seen before... a box with moving parchment. The people who witnessed it lay dumbfounded at the magic they were seeing unfold before their very eyes... they had just burnt an inventor.
The records of the world don't overtly state that Narks was the inventor of the Television, however the first moving text on a screen was his last will to his town.
Narks' role was Sheriff!
