i thought maybe there should be a punishment for Vigilante implemented... i dont know... kinda like...
-if he shoots first night and hit an innocent = loosing all remaingin bullets
-if he shoots to innocents/neutral non killers he looses 20 points after the game ende...

Kinda like that... reason is... at least 90% of all Vigilante shoots randomly 2 ppls in the first 2 nights... mostly hitting innocents... This ruins the game. Sure - the game is not the problem... the ppls are... if there is a punishment for beeing a jerk-player... maybe such guys stop beein jerks... :)

Slippery slope. Next thing you know, people will want Escorts punished for the same thing... or Godfathers punished for not choosing a target to kill...

Yep. Nub vigilante is more dangerous than nub sheriff, but can make you lose all the same. If there was a way to keep dumb players out of your game, that would be great, lol.

These are the risks in mafia. If you're getting frustrated with random pub vigs, try getting a game in the Mafia Channel. They're usually a lot better.

I've just stopped adding Vigs to public games. Irregardless if they hit mafia, town, or whatever the game generally becomes vastly lopsided due to a N1 shot and in favor of playing more close games in public I just generally drop the vig now (or if I have to only give him 1 shot).

well actually i dont play public often... but if i do... i get killed at least 8 of 10 times by vigi... first or second night.

But i guess u are right... such a thing would punish also good vigilante who just mad a bad call in mid- or lategame.

Just a bit frustrated about Vigi... thats all^^ Thanks for ur comments anyway :)
