December 31, 1958 11:56 PM - The Kashmir Restaurant
The party was in full swing as Rapture watched the clock tick down. The music blared, and the air stank of Booze and sweat. Couples in snickered in the dark corners of the room, lost in bliss. There was a dull moan in the hull of the shell of the room. The record skipped and scratched to a stop. The dancers looked towards the record player only to notice the bartender bleeding, a lead pipe still protruding from his skull.
A woman screamed. The restaurants doors to the city exploded open. Men and women rushed into the building. A man threw a grenade at the bar. Five were killed in the explosion, a dozen more writhing on the floor from shrapnel. The rioters shouted Atlas' name, and called for Ryan's head. The Kashmirs patrons started fighting back. With whatever items they could muster. The room now stank of blood and sweat.
Andrew Ryan looked down upon the carnage. This was the work of Atlas, the Parasite. He would have to be exterminated for this. He sent two of his guard to deal with the rioters. As Sullivan lead him into a safe room. Ryan's men unleashed their machine guns into the crowd. The rioters and the patrons were so entwined no one could identify who was who. The blood lust was horrific.
It had only been eight minutes since blood was spilled. The massacre was over. Thirty-seven people were all that remained.. Scattered throughout the Restaurant among the corpses. Everyone was covered in grime, blood, and debris. No one could tell who was a patron, employee, security, or rioter. There is only a state of shock and fear. What will happen next. Who can you trust. For the time being.. only yourself.

If you did not make contact during day one. You will be replaced, and may be able to re-enter as a reserve depending on your circumstances.)
