Alignment - Town
Abilities: Borrow someone's house for the night in order to shoot an adult movie. Every visit your target would receive is redirected to you instead. (since you are in his house).
Special Attributes: In case the owner doesn't leave his home that night (non visiting roles; coroner/amne) your ability will fail. Detectives will not be redirected but lookouts will.
Metagame implications: At first sight this seems to be a "swap self every night busdriver-like role" but this role has 2 tweaks. First, the person you target will not receive your visits instead (debatable whether you receive your own visits aswell or just those of your target). Second is the big difference compared to the busdriver is that this role can determine who a visiting role is (or further throw off town by not doing anything as scum). This role also functions as a proto bodyguard, although you don't take down the killer role. Also, investigative roles can be thrown off quite a bit, but that's a decent drawback for a role as versatile as this one.
Possible future metagame implications: With a few roles suggested that visit people's homes such as the homeless or the good ol disguiser these 3 could form an investigative category of their own.
Order of operations: I guess this should happen before roleblocks, since people leave their homes, but get sidetracked on their way there.
Note: I just made this role since the name sprung into my mind and i thought this could be workable with. Also, since the jailor drags off their target the adult movie director would be able to use his ability on the home of a person who got jailed. I don't know whether or not the jailor leaves his home for the night though :o
To sum up: The Adult Movie Director is somewhat of a mash up of the bodyguard, busdriver and a pseudo investigative role. Personally i like him for the name, but the confusion that allows
Suggestion: If killed at the home of his target it will say: His skull was bashed in with a 2KWatt floodlight. Or : His corpse was found at an R-rated movie set. This will avoid confusion about where he was killed.
