Hello everyone! Welcome to the Five-Sided Mafia! It has been a while since the Family Godfather, Clementine Neroli, took the lead in the town. Now the shattered town members are trying to gather again in order to break the Mafia's iron rule as well as to reach for their own ambitions. Will they be able to stand against Mafia before breaking out again? Only time will tell.

During Night 0 Mafia members will meet each other and discuss their strategy for Day 1. During Day 1, players can elect a person for Town Leader position. Whoever gets a single majority will be elected as Town Leader. An elected Town Leader will have the power of two votes instead of one. However, players may also choose NOT to elect Town Leader by voting -against all.

Day 1 will begin in 24 hours. Good luck!

Well given the voting system, unless one could provide definite proof of whether someone or not is of their own faction is quite impossible to say. Given what we know there are 6 "town", more or less, even they don't have to stick together, then there are 7 "others".
Since i myself belong to those 5, the "other"s are up by even 2 more now. That is less than a 50% chance of voting somebody "hopefully" to be a town aligned person. I won't vote anybody, given that nobody can provide proof of said thing.

Town Mayor is by majority vote. With night chat, Mafia could easily vote up their buddies. Anti-Mafia should hope that they have Jailor or Vigilante if Mafia vote up their buddies. But Mayor is important to numerical disadvantaged Tycoons and Outlaws. Makes their vote even to Mafia, Police and Militia. One up opposing Tycoon or Outlaw so that when it comes to choosing, their faction have a louder voice.

There are 7 people who you don't want to give mayor to (mafia + neutrals), 3 people who you are ok with giving mayor to but they could still use it against you (police or militia) and 2 that you want to give it to (your police or militia teammates).

Statistically speaking you're unlikely to give it to a person who benefits you and if you mean Bunny has been mafia a lot recently so will probably be town this time, I don't think Fragos reads all the S-FMs here to know that.

statistically speaking, everybody is more likely to have rolled town or neutral rather than maf. The odds of hitting someone you really want with your vote is 1:12 or 2:12 depending on what faction you are on.

seeing how the tycoons are the core enemies of the outlaw faction, i believe dousing or charging a tycoon is the most valid strategy for the outlaw killers.
Also, a spy would never want to get jailed, since he wouldn't receive the maf night chat that night (spy can be roleblocked)
If you were the tycoon you could gain unlimited potential from a single night action of yourself, leaving the possibilities of busdriver/merchant/gunsmith.
I reckon you're one of the latter 2, intending to gun up or provide the jailor with information when possible.
Well a BD could provide protection to the jailor aswell, so that also seems possible, but less likely, since i don't think you planned that far ahead.

These tables don't work because there wouldn't be a stalemate between Police and Outlaw because both the police and militia will be be voting the mafia and with a mayor we can lynch the mafia. You also don't take into account who dies because starting tomorrow not everyone will have a full team. If Police or Militia die we can make up for it with the mayor. If an Outlaw or Tycoon dies it makes it even easier for us to lynch mafia.

Until the mafia are dead I'm not going to consider allying with the Outlaws over the Police. With 1 outlaw already revealed they're not going to side with the militia when the mafia can kill their members whenever they want. The same applies for the Tycoons and Police.

this setup is quite genius, since you can never get the majority unless someone who could win with you votes against you, with the mafia being the exception.
Also it'll be a problem for all 3 major factions if one of the smaller factions gets wiped out early on.
If both Tycoons die, the Outlaws will simply plead to lynch a scummy looking police, then jump the killfest and probably ally with the mafia in order to not get killed and wipe out the rest of the militia.
If the Outlaws die, Tycoons will use their power to get rid off the militia first, by either providing false information, then joining forces with either the police or the mafia.
Either the Police or Militia will have a hard time if either of the neutral factions die early.
Also the Mafia benefits from having the Outlaws live over the Tycoons, since their major concern are the Police, so having both Tycoons alive always has the drawback of them being possibly backstabbed by them.
Problem is, we are in the dark since mafia were lucky enough to roll Janitor. At the current moment we have to rely on the allegiances forged by the Tycoons working along with the Police, and hoping the outlaws deal an immediate hit on the mafia.
