Once upon a time in a land far away, there lived many animals, big and small. They lived in a beautiful green pasture with food and drink for miles around. It was a paradise. This was the home of two of the smallest kittens in the land, Zane and Clementine. All species somehow found a way to peacefully coexist – that is, until the Dark.Raven appeared.

The Dark.Raven was the smartest and swiftest of the ravens, fluent in many tongues and able to converse amongst all other animals with ease. He quickly buddied up with the hyenas and any other remnants of civilized company living on the outskirts of the Pride Lands. Slowly consolidating power, the Dark.Raven waited patiently for the day he and his right hand lion Scar, could rule the land.

At the other edge of the Pride Lands lived many mosquitoes, bees, spiders, and insects in the forest. They had been banished from the Pride Lands many years ago because of the diseases they spread with their infectious bites. For a long time their population had been marginalized and pushed aside, but nobody seemed to care much about their community’s well being – that is, until the Big Bad Wolf arrived as a champion of the forest dweller’s rights. He pledged to lobby the government of the Pride Lands to spread free immunizations to all insects and re-invest in the lowest social group of the forest community. After all, a healthy ecosystem relies on all of its members to thrive.

It was the day an important bill would be debated on the senate floor, granting amnesty to all convicted insects who were guilty of spreading malaria. The Big Bad Wolf argued that these insects were the victims of a flawed social system that offered little help to the poorest citizens, leaving hundreds of thousands of insects unable to integrate into society. The Dark.Raven was in attendance and he vehemently opposed the bill. The insects of the forest had infected many hyenas and the constituents he represented were vocal in their opposition. As any shady mafia boss would do, the Dark.Raven took things into his own hands and ate Phyrfly the head lawyer for the insects and caterpilier, a young child whose fate was being dictated by the social system.

The Big Bad Wolf was outraged. Two of his allies had been eaten alive by the Dark.Raven. He roared and in his fury, he trampled Yapyap the puppy dog, a visitor to the capitol on a school field trip. Security was called, and Raptorgic, the report processing powerhouse came up to deal with the Big Bad Wolf, but with one swipe of his claws Raptorgic was dead. Knowing that he had committed a felony, the Big Bad Wolf took off, racing back to the forests with the intent of raising an army to bring true justice to the citizens of a land that wouldn’t accept the insects.

The Dark.Raven was captured and restrained. The insects he had ingested were carriers of malaria, and the Dark.Raven soon perished. However, Scar lived on to rally the hyenas to take over the government and return to their rightful place in power.

The rest of the Pride Lands were shell shocked. They wanted to rid their society of the insects and the hyenas in order to restore peace amongst themselves.

Poor Zane and Clementine were too young to understand complicated food chain politics, but they could feel that unrest was brewing in the kingdom. Or perhaps they did understand. Zane and Clementine, two of the most amaZANE clemenTIGERS in all the land sat back with a box of cookies to enjoy as the drama began to unfold.

Wise baboon? Seriously? Smh. I haven't watched lion king in like, 10 years, and I still know his name is Rafiki. And my memory is horrible.

Also the fruit that "the wise baboon" cracks open is an inaccurate representation of the fruit of the Baobab tree. In real life, the baobab fruit's interior is white and powdery, with lots of seeds, whereas the baobab fruit in the movie has no seeds, and the interior is a red juice that stains.

The closest thing you'll find to the fake baobab fruit that Rafiki uses is a pomegranate, because while it has seeds, it atleast has a red juice that stains.

Cock-a-doodle-doooo! The crowing of a rooster woke up all the animals in the land. But somehow, something was wrong. A couple things were very, very wrong.

A 5 headed rooster is an omen of bad things to come.

As the animals began to go about their daily business, cleMANtine was missing from her daily job at the cleMANtownie Tabloid Publishing Office. Perhaps she was off writing up some breaking news story, or perhaps she was the breaking news story. Her corpse was discovered, after a fellow reporter followed the bloody smear of a dragged corpse to near the elephant graveyard. Upon further examination, it appeared cleMANtine wasn’t even an animal. It appeared cleMANtine was actually a terrorist!

Rafiki, the wise mandrill was supposed to show up at the birthing ceremony of a young lion in the Pride Lands to perform his gourd shaking and face painting ceremony. He never appeared. He was found in the middle of the town, poisoned by insects from the forest. Every animal in the Pride Lands mourned the loss of their beloved doctor.

Death in the animal kingdom is not uncommon, but these sudden deaths had launched everyone into a strange feeling of unease. The animals of the Pride Lands vowed to find the killers of their friends and be prepared for whatever dangers might come their way.

There is a drug dealer in the list of possible roles. I'm not sure if he would use a drug on night 1 with the options he has but anyone staying at home would be highly suspicious to the detective. There's a high chance of his drugs being discovered with blocked, bus driven and attacked+healed. Discovered the interceptor would be more effective but they might wait until later to use that one, if there even is a drug dealer.

Timon is safe when visiting my target! Yay! And if they make pork chops out of me, Timon will know who the interceptor is! So I'm safe too! Yay! All we need now is AT LEAST ONE MORE SHEEP TO VISIT ME, so that hot manpig Pumba will be okay too if they send an interceptor to me! If I get roleblocked, it doesn't matter!


Q: What happens if a consort blocks an escort or a sheep that is able to role block? Are consorts immune to role blocking?

Sheep is a possible role in the town PR slot. This means there could be a higher number of truthful sheep role claims than there are sheep slots because sheep can also come from the PR slot. The orange mafia has the ability to kill 2 people on one night if a sheep is lynched so I expect there to be an extra sheep in the PR slot to increase the likelihood of town lynching one.

We may get some indicator of how many sheep there are if everyone leaves in their last will which night their role block went through or if they haven't blocked anyone. Not only does this stop mafia from claiming the blocks of dead sheep but we can also use it to work out the number of sheep by counting the number of nights in the block cycle. There could be a problem with sheep blocking someone on the night they die as well as mafia not claiming to be blocked. To counter this:

Every sheep must write a record of who they have blocked and who they are going to block in their last will.

E.g.

Night 1 - Blocked Player A
Night 2 - Blocked Player B
Night 3 - Blocked Player C (he claimed blocked)
Night 4 - Blocking Player D <--- Died on night 4

It is also useful to include any feedback messages you have received in your last will.

With this information we can work out how each sheep fits in the cycle and will also be able to discover any mafia who have lied about not being blocked.

Good plan BROnana. The sheep count is indeed useful for finding false sheep claimers. When we know the sheep count and when our roleblock was successful, we will also know when our next successful roleblock will be.

And you're right, I was mistaken about Pooh. It's actually easiest for him to win with town if he just eats 1 sheep. If he does eat a bee though, he'd have to eat 3 sheep to be with the town again. That'd be quite hard to manage.

Except this is "mass coordination" of citizen actions, most of which won't do anything. Timon and Pumba will be able to get a night chat if they go along with this, which I think is worth "losing" one night action.

Timon will be able to see everyone who visits BROnana as well, so he and Pumba will know several likely sheep together. Mafia can hide among them to get some cover, but most actions are quite wasted on a sheep.

Basically what MANGERINE said. This isn't mass coordination where every PR must visit a certain target as usually each PR thinks they know best and will go after whoever they think is scummy. This plan only requires two PRs who probably want to get a night chat and to a lesser extent a load of citizens who don't have much of a night action anyway. If a rogue sheep decide to block someone else even though it could greatly harm town and has little benefit, the chance of him successfully blocking Timon or Pumba is small.

I agree with the plan. Since no one has come forward and say they were blocked, odds are there is no consort. If town or Winnie had been blocked, they would reveal, and if the opposite mafia team was blocked, they'd reveal themselves to the other mafia by not claiming blocked.

A: Yes, an escort/consort/sheep role block can role block a sheep who is not performing a role block. This same idea applies to a consort being sent to perform a faction kill. The consort performing a kill is not immune to role block. Only role blockers performing role blocks are immune to role block. (What a mouthful!)

The plan still works unless there is a consort. If Timon and Pumba meet each other tonight we'll know there isn't one.

As for the rest of the sheep we want to make sure they won't block any of the 4 needed for the plan. They could all visit a volunteer, stay at home, or individually pick people they are sure won't be Timon or Pumba. The third option has the benefit of sheep being able to figure out where they are in the cycle but it has some risk.

If two town die tomorrow we should aim to lynch someone even without PR information. A lurker will probably be lynched so if you're town make sure you're not in that position.

The threat with the plan comes with the other sheep randomly RBing someone and accidentally RBs Timon and Pumba, then that sheep would know where it is in the RB cycle.
The only way this plan falls is if a consort comes in and RBs. We may have a consort just to fuck with the Sheep.

My thoughts on the conversation so far. The plan is the best we have so far, IMO.

My guess is that Clementine never thought of sheep using our actions like this. The Order of Operations does not have a a non-roleblocking visitation of sheep listed because she thought it couldn't be used for anything :p

If we could find out which person was roleblocked, the sheep who blocked that person could visit me without breaking the plan. We are already sure that they won't be the blocker again tonight.

If the sheep who performed the real block knows who he is, that player can stay anonymous and visit me to protect Pumba from an interceptor. If a consort is the only role that can stop this plan I think it'd still be worth going along with it. The least we'd get out of it would be a confirmed consort in the setup.

If we can't figure out who last night's roleblocking sheep was however, then we should probably terminate the plan because multiple random factors could work against us.

This isn't a fool-proof plan, but it has a high chance of success and gives good information regardless of its success. It does rely on a question I asked in the FAQ.

All the sheep (except BROnana) and Timon visit BROnana. This way, Timon learns who all the sheep are unless BROnana is framed.

All town PRs stay away from BROnana.

Pumba picks a target of his own choosing. The chance that he visits a sheep are fairly high, but he can find other information. If he sees someone visiting anyone other than BROnana, he will know for certain that they are not sheep (unless they were framed).

On following days, we will vote during the day who will be the target of Timon and all the sheep. This way we can direct the roleblock and it doesn't really matter whose turn it is. If Timon ever sees a town PR die that visited one of his assigned targets, he'll know that his information was framed. If he sees different names coming up on different nights, he will know that his information was framed. If the framer ever messes with Timon's results, he has to keep giving the same fake results over and over in order to stay hidden and he can't ever touch any of Pumba's targets because he will be tracking different targets. If Timon and Pumba get their night chat together, they can compare results and if they don't add up, they'll know that one of them (most likely Timon) got affected by framing.

This plan makes Pumba's trackings much more informative at least, because right now anyone he targets could be sheep and he has no way of knowing if they are.

No there aren't. I'm currently just trying to direct sheep and maybe Timon to increase the chance Timon and Pumba get a night chat, and at the same time trying to make sure the sheep's visits don't make our primary investigative roles unreliable. Because let's face it even if we do manage to block a scum player we probably won't even know that we did. So until we're down to like 2-3 sheep we're mainly just messing with our detective and lookout.

Despite the two deaths, earlier that day, the town was peaceful and at ease. One was a terrorist, and the other was old Rafiki. People barely hung out with him since he was always away shaking his gourd at the moon performing rituals.

Some animals formulated a plan to try to help find the evildoers in their midst. They were thorough and tried their hardest to poke around at the loopholes in the Pride Lands constitution and bylaws to use the law of the land to their advantage. Satisfied for now, they rested easy, knowing that everything should work itself out.

honeyDUDE was not one of those peaceful animals. He was constantly on edge, provoking fights with both SLAUGHTERmelon and gRAPEfruit. Many other townspeople looked on but decided not to get involved in the drama.

Near the end of the day a funny man in a banana costume appeared in the Pride Lands, dropping pokeballs. He was the Johnny Appleseed of Pokemon and a part time performer, hired to make an appearance at the birthday party of the amaZANE clemenTIGERS. Two of his strange contraptions had been opened today – one trapping BROnana, and the other releasing a Ditto that duplicated itself into peabNUT giving peabNUT an extra vote.

Hakuna Matata! What a wonderful phrase! MANGERlNE’s plan resulted in a massive Pride Lands party last night. It was too dark for all the party goers to see who had attended the party, except for the observant hosts, Timon and Pumbaa. Reunited at last!

What a party! In the morning, everyone woke up groggy and slightly hung over to find tradgedy in the Pride Lands. There were giant bear tracks and a very obvious trail of spilled honey leading to and from the corpse of leMAN. leMAN was an innocent sheep who was brutally eaten. To add insult to injury, it appeared as if his remains were attacked again after death.

Another corpse was found out by the elephant graveyard. honeyDUDE was chewed to pieces, and his cute little helmet was slashed apart by sharp claws. Too bad honeyDUDE’s helmet offered him only negligible protection from the attack. honeyDUDE was identified as Nala, the tough young lioness, betrothed to Simba. The Pride Lands mourned her loss and even the sky wept for Nala’s death.

As rain descended onto the grasslands, a bystander found a note painted on the dirt near Nala, written in her own blood. It read:

You increase the votes needed for lynches and can't be read from the tiny amount of posts you make, causing PRs to waste their actions checking you. Your lurking encourages others to lurk meaning there is even less posts to scum hunt with. Town lurking means mafia can lurk without pressure as either the town are lurking too much to pressure them or there are so much lurkers that you can't tell the difference between bad town and scum. If you are a citizen mafia won't kill you because you helping them hide. You could be a power role but in most cases active cits are more useful than power roles and you post so little I have no idea whether you are even using your night actions (often lurkers forget). Important night action results may not be reported. You could easily become a scapegoat allowing scum to hide while people focus on you. You may even be lynched for your anti-town lurking allowing scum to survive another night. See Festival of Blood M-FM for examples of all of these.

It is useful for us to know there is a vigilante and I can't think of any better targets at this point than you, BROcumber and BROmato. If you're town you can easily avoid being shot by posting more so I don't see what the problem is. And ofc I made that statement in order to get you to post more.

It could be. It's odd that there was no evidence of a drug dealer from night 1 (only 1 block claim which is expected) then there are 2 possible druggings (attacked+healed on me and gRAPE bus driven) from night 2.

It's not unusual for a BD not to bus drive on night 1 and gRAPE could have been swapped with a dead guy last night (it would make sense if he was swapped with honey). If there is only 1 drug dealer I'd say my drugging is more likely as he could have done it look like a sheep or Pooh (it's risky for him to skip actions with a detective). The bus drive drug is almost a drug dealer give away as it can't be kept up long and I think a bus driver is more likely to be in the role list than 2 docs and vig who shot and healed.

If you don't think you can contribute on a regular basis maybe you should ask to be replaced. I'm sure there's a lot of reserves who'd like the place and you shouldn't feel obligated to finish the FM half-heartedly if you don't have enough time.

MANGARINE is on my list. I don't very much trust someone who directs the town. The only people who know what the event looks like are the detective and the lookout. Seemed like a mob ploy to me, but I have no reason to explicitly state this. I was waiting for more information.

I think KILLERpeach is just carrying over a feud from a previous game once he realize who I was. I think it's possible that he is also mob, attempting to focus everyone on me but again, there's no reason to explicitly state this as it is just a hypothesis.

The only reason he had for voting me was a day 3 accusation of lurking and, presumably, hostility from that feud I mentioned. This did not warrant a response as I see his accusations as baseless because... they are. BROmato made a statement that I felt could be expanded on as well as pointing out that anything at this moment is speculative unless one is using information the rest of us are unaware of.

Afternoon everyone, from what I can take from the conversation while just skimming..

Some of yesterdays lurkers are posting more. This could be so they don't get lynched. This also could be because they have a lot more time today.
Why is KILLERpeach pushing so hard on MANgo, instead of one of the other lurkers? BROconut hasn't posted much today, just a triple post about how I was lynch training him.

But KILLER *was* pushing a lynch on MANgo for meta reasons.
I don't feel comfortable lynching on meta. Unless you have some other evidence, the only reason MANgo was considered was because of lurkerness. I think he has proven that he has stopped lurking for time being.
BROconut, among others, have yet to post or posted something that isn't contributing.
MANgo is suspicious, but others are more so, IMO.


Again, I will be willing to vote for whatever scummy person there is, but lets wait a few more hours, to see if anyone else posts before we change votes.

He didn't vote until he fucked up and posted on his COM. Didn't even say anything about MANgo being scum until then...

The question is why lynch him over others. The other lurkers have done a good job on not posting so far. Why waste valuable scumhunting time?
Depending on what the other lurkers do, then we can make a good decision on who to lynch today, but we cannot wait too long. If MANgo is actually a scum, we can't let him get away.
I'm also going to feel really bad if MANgo flips scum.

Hey all. I'm not sure but has anyone mentioned that honeydude's death may be the result of an interceptor?

I could see the reason in attacking BROnana if I were mafia. With all the sheep and possibly Timon targeting him, they could have tried to make Timon search for a killer among them. An especially sneaky tactic! And a downside to having all the sheep targeting the same person. Worse if there is a framer too.

Therefore I suggest that Timon no longer watches the sheep block target, if we still do want to decide one (or he might do it anyway! lolWIFOM!). The night chat is already there it looks like, so he won't have to watch the person for that. Even though a directed sheep block makes it easy for a killer to hide, I still suggest that we proceed with it to not clutter Timon's and Pumba's results. The second doctor, if he exists, could maybe throw a heal at the sheep block target if he believes that person to be trustworthy. However, I think we may as well vote on sheep block targets we find suspicious. It's unlikely the mafia will kill them if we might lynch them, after all!

I agree that MANgo is a possible scummy fruitman! He has said very little before today and besides one post, most of it has been defensive and not very helpful to the town. I support a pressure vote on him.
