Lightning Strikes

I, humbly, ask the moderators to please limit the use of lightning strikes in games, unless they're actually using it to prevent game-throwing or w/e they are supposed to use it for. It confuses the new players and could be disruptive to games. The most common example is when someone leaves the game and the moderator uses their lightning on them. Instead of showing the leaver as committing suicide, it shows the new death-type.

Just a thought with the goal in mind of trying to grow our player-base.

I have never seen lightning and if Mods use, then they can they are mods for a reason and the would only do it for the sake of the game.

Iv actually played a lot of games with MODERATOR, he only using the lightning on cheaters/gamethrowers and leavers....

OH and when I ask for lightning, but then my name pops up twice.

but there's pretty much no reason to use it with the feature to kick
i mean, if a person's bad enough to kill, you might as well kick them so they don't get points/achievement

On europe, I also have NEVER seen this happen, to anyone (and I would love to have the one in a million achievement).
You are probably on NA, so I can't comment there, but I find it hard to believe that you people over there have like permanent mod thunderclouds above your games, striking down every little worm daring to step out of line with righteous might and thunder. A grim vision indeed, but one I can't really imagine with a straight face.

BTW: Can you add some replays? I have never even seen that happen, would like to see it.
