I don't like them. They're glitchy, cause lag, and distract from the chatbox(the important part of the game)
I, for one, am not a fan.

Yeah I noticed the camera angles were only messing up after 1.5 came out, and 1.5 has a lot of bugs so it should be resolved in due time.
One funny angle I get to see though is a dead person with his head covered by a box. Se7en reenactment time.

Yes, the rep provided by other users.
Anywho, there were times the camera zooms were actually pretty nice and gave it a suspenseful feel.
Then there were times where the camera zoomed too far out to like a bird's view which looked wierd as it displayed the boundaries of the map and the emptiness around it...or it would zoom in too close. One time the game ended and the camera zoomed in through the ground in which I could no longer describe what I was looking at.
Then there were times where every cut away has the camera zooming or shaking. Example:
Player is voted to be put on trial. Camera shifts as the person walks to the trial.
Player gives his defense. The camera zooms out slowly. (This I like.)
Player is voted guilty. No camera effect.
The person walks to his execution spot where the camera shifts again.
The player says his final words as camera slowly zooms out. (Again, the slow zooming out is a nice effect for speaking moments.)
The player is executed as the camera zooms in very close.
The role of the player was released and the camera zoomed out to the birds' eye view.
I was slightly sick after experiencing this. I hope it is just bugged. :)

Not a bug. All I did was add a system that does literally random shit with the camera on most static cams. I'll adjust it so it has a larger chance of doing the fun shit like zoomout.

Hi there!
I generally don't really think it is bad that the dead people are now found somewhere around the town and not around the circle, and that the camera moves dramatically in-between the scenes.
However, there was one moment where one person was at trial, and the camera was slowly panning above him. While I don't understand why, this movement of the camera while I was focusing on what the person was saying was nauseating for me. Therefore, I would maybe suggest that the camera only be moved when there is no text around, because this feels like reading while riding a bus (something I was never able to do).
Cheers

This guy describes it way better. The new angles and camera effects are just irritating and nauseating. They're not necessary and don't add to the gameplay whatsoever. I guess it's cool to see the dead bodies near houses away from the "town circle," I guess that makes more sense, but it's still not necessary and again, it distracts from the chat box.
Darkrevenant misses the point, I'm not pointing out a bug, I'm pointing out a bad feature which most of everyone who's posted in this thread seems to not like.

I noticed the camera angle update today. Dead bodies are now scattered at various places in town, that's good. The devs that implemented this deserve an oscar, seriously makes the game ten times less static and adds a human eye feel to being drawn in the game.
One may say even that the camera follows the emotion of the scene. Academy awards worthy.

Well I think the camera effects are needed. Just not that intensely.
At times, it really adds to the drama. When a body comes up dead, it's pretty nice to have the camera effects. The way before, everything was just too still for a game that is supposed to tell a story.

The camera is ridiculous in this current state.
1. The camera zooms an extreme amount out of bounds, looking like the map is getting thrown to a blackhole.
2. Awkward chest / crotch extreme zooms.
3. Camera spins in cricles nonstop making all of us dizzy.
4. I've seen only once the camera upside down but rather rare.
5. When someone dies, the camera zooms sometimes on the wrong person who's still alive. (Guess who got lynched?)
It's a mixed bad. Ridiculous, and a mixture of funny and annoying.

Same, also saw someone's head stuck in a building. The map zooming out to a small square. Nice FPS view of entire map making my FPS drop to almost nothing. The outside of the map and black borders should never ever be visible to be honest. Makes the map look amateurish which it's not, does the game a great un-justice.

They are sometimes okay but few show clippings in through the map and just make it look odd, a good addition but they need some improvement.

Improvement really isn't possible from the current state on the NA server. It's randomized.
Anyway, EU has an older version with a much more extreme random camera.

Ahh, I do like them though even if sometimes it is random.

About how long will it take for EU to get the newer NA version?
