If a bodyguard is on a Bus Driver that switches himself with a mafioso that attacks the Bus Driver?

B, M, G, Bus, Mafia, Guard, 1, 2, 3

1 <> 2
2 -> 1
3 -> 1

Now, when the BD does his job...

1 -> 1
3 -> 1

I'm sure that the BD kill doesn't count as an actual kill, but rather, a suicide from the Mafioso. Basically, the Bodyguard does nothing, and the Mafioso still dies. Now, if it's Mason Leader vs Cult, the Bodyguard will protect the Cult, and the ML will die.

Hmm. bus is guarded. bus is attacked. bus switches both onto mafia guy.
bg + mafia guy die.

Doesn't getting hit by a bus take priority over any other type of kill?

If not, this is the same scenario as a vig getting witched to kill himself while a bg is on the vig, right? (i.e. the vig suicides and bg lives, so this mafioso would suicide and the bg would live)
