Using it to test her reaction.

One of the reasons I scum read mesk is because unknown was killed instead of secondpassing.
Secondpassing is read as town by most players, at that point even was seen as cop. But his fake check was on Mesk so mesk would know he isn't cop, and didn't want to lose that extra reason to be town.

Also mesk knows unknown personally. And mesk is more likely to kill.players for personal reasons

Disagree. SP is a clear MVP, and his fakeclaim helped reveal Mesk, and had Mesk been town would have greatly increased the odds Duckk survived N1

IMO, the entire game turned on Pure being AFK during EOD Day 1 and getting policy lynched for being that AFK during a critical time. That flip completely screwed up the Mafia's momentum -- otherwise, would have been lynch on MZ, probable lynch next on SP. Not much a solo Mafia could have done at that point -- running the gauntlet down 7-1 and with a Cop making checks simply wasn't going to end well for the Mafia.

Moral of the story is to show up to EOD, especially if you're scum.

Yup, Mafia simply wasn't coming back from a Day 1 lynch, down 7-1 and with a Cop clearing people. I think this was more an example of the Mafia choking than the Town playing well (i.e. a lot of the fake Sheriff play was pretty bad IMO). Agreed that people shouldn't take it out on Pure, but hopefully he learns for the next time the importance of activity level during critical times in the game.

However, if Purebe wasn't mafia I still would have died and Duck wouldn't have revealed, which would have left Mesk being confirmed town for quite a while. I probably would have pushed her after I changed my mind about you.

TBH, SuperJack kept the town together the best after night 1 when everyone was running around panicked. Without him I think Town would have lynched Duck.

Why I picked Mesk514 as my N0 cop clear. I townread Unknown/PLZLEAVEDUCKK the heaviest but:
_____1. I had pushed Unknown for a short while, and would not make sense saying I had a town clear on him.
_____2. Picking PLZLEAVEDUCKK as my cop read was way too convenient, and people would probably be suspicious of my cop check.

_____3. I had hopes that Mesk would be more active than my other choices.

Given that I chose to check Mesk514 on N0, agreeing with DUCKK meant that I had to drop cover. Had Mesk514 not been scum, this move may have provided cop cover for one more day.

If PLZLEAVEDUCKK was a cop with a red check on Mesk514, then lynching him ensures that he was actually cop, and we prevent a throw or whatever.
When he admitted his results I switched to Eggy for the auto.

If PLZLEAVEDUCKK was a VT, I had already predicted that he would back down at L-1. I think at this point in the game, my town cred massively beats his.

your idea is contegent on the fact that mesk was town. as you saw she was not so it really messed up the plan to begin with.

however, even in the case she is town your plan had a lot of faults in itself.
1) if the cop claims to have a red check you need to let it run, never EVER do you CC a known cop as a non-cop role
2) Lynching the cop is the most anti town play ever (see this game and charmanders revenge 2.0), in this setup itself cop is going to die regardless, if he was vt covering and got shot, it gave real cop cover. again it goes back to the fact of DONT CC COP as VT/citizen
3) If he was griefing/throw (which if he was vt faking it, it would be more on griefing side then game-throw), thats something for the fm staff to take care of.
4) if plz leave duck was vt what you had done by CC vt-duck has made more of a mess then help by CC his fake cop claim.
5) if cop is to claim and not die then you should start asking questions. in a single scum its suicide to do so. as two scum i could see it. cop and just about any pr is self resolving.

I understand your intentions, however they are not pro-town as much as it seems.

I have bad vibes of town VT CCing claimed cop based on PLZLEAVEDUCK doing that to ika/myself in Charmander's Revenge and actually getting the cop lynched in that game. Which also brings up the hypocrisy of PLZLEAVEDUCK throwing a fit over being cc'd by town, after doing that exact same play in the past himself. I agree that SuperJack held the town together by trying to explain to PLD that he's not going to get anyone to listen to him by being so antagonistic and also by working with ika when he replaced in and also by correctly calling out Mesk as scum. Unknown was pretty obvious town on readthru. And although it looks like we are being critical, secondpassing was also pretty obvious town in comparison to her previous scum game where I scumread her for not posting much. So really, if Mesk would of somehow been town, MattZ would of been the obvious lynch and town would of won anyway but that was dependent on the other players who were not cop cleared being very town and secondapassing did accomplish that goal.

Which is why I said earlier-good job town and well played!!

Eggy-all I have to say about your play was WTF? You were VT and therefore your job was to be obvious town to draw a NK. You didn't really accomplish that by being antitown as hell. I don't know if you were going for "must be town for being so weird" or was maybe just deciding to play bizarre for the hell of it but it didn't really work in your favor.
