First, I had no way to be 100% sure that voss was scum. Not defending myself could have led us to killing two towns.
Second it is far better to lynch a scum than hoping for a town to kill the right dude.

Me as town in this setup i disagree with you 100% i would not mind a lynch of myself if i felt i had a good idea who scum was, open up your mind and stopp seeing things as if its a one way street your hard defense of yourself came off as scummy to me sorry pal

Using end game to insult people doesn't really beget more games. After enough insulting, people quit, and you have less people playing on the forums.

Rather, call yourself out on what you did wrong and congratulating everyone else should be the preferred way to endgame talk. At worst, I'd ask people why they thought a certain way, and take advantage of any perceived 'stupidities' in OTHER games.

I'm just askin for more constructive/wholesome end game talk. <3

If I would have been in Efe shoes, having to choose between Fiel and Voss, I would have probably chosen Voss but having to choose between them was the worst case scenario imo.

This lost is on Blink/Fiel hands.

My only post-game griping will be a question for @Fielzanks
Knowing that Voss is going to shoot efe if he is lynched and knowing that you yourself are town, why lynch efe instead of Voss? I feel like that was a bit too impatient, should have let efe talk first at least, especially since it sounds like he “80%” intentionally threw lol.

I am very happy that this game was very close, I am unhappy that it came down as close as it was because of a replacement issue. Voss pretty much showed up at the right time lol. Congratulations?

Aamirus was definitely MVP this game.

The longer this game went on, the more I saw the benefits of purposefully lynching townreads to kill a mafia in order to keep universally townread people, like aamirus, alive. I suppose that's the fundamental thing about this game, you can either go for high-risk volatile plays which will probably backfire or you can play classic and suffer punishment. I do want to say one thing, and that is that when you're being scumpainted, you know. Other people might not, but you do. Well played to @PowersThatBe but I don't think going all in like that was a good idea in this setup, regardless of how well you do it.

Thanks! And good job sticking with your gut about me. This set up was tricky because you had to walk a fine line between aggressively trying to ML town targets with necessarily leading the charge in hopes they won’t get revenge, and trying to appeal to everyone to not mislynching you for not necessarily pushing aggressively enough. It was a very fine line to walk indeed.

Right. But @Efekannn02 you didn't tell me you were doing it 80/20 though. It's basically called I have made my decision but I'll say I used RNG just because if I'm wrong I'll have a backup......... Yeah. I'm sad the game was decided like that. Nevertheless, well played Aamirus and SB16, and Voss ofc IMO tied for MVP.

Honestly as host that strategy was putting MM in a really bad position, he handled it well. In retrospect it is kind of obvious what was going on because while Hybrid just got boom replaced (he wasn't talking in scum chat and showed no activity), David only got a warning (he WAS talking in scum chat, just not posting enough). IMO it is poor sportsmanship to hide behind the host the way David did and refuse to post, I didn't like that at all. MM shouldn't have to try and plan out his hosting actions to avoid revealing the scums, he's not a part of the game

But out of the David part, you're right. Host meta IS crappy. Saying I took 2 firsts and 2 lasts to get my scums IS crappy. Trying to find out the "host balance meta" ISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS crappy!!! Any host that follows the rules will erase any host meta factor. DO NOT USE THAT. The only moment it can come into play is when two roles have an obvious synergy, stated in the setup, meaning they are likely to both exist in the game if one exists. (e.g. sleeper agent and KGB agent in cold war setup)

By the way... Hosting is not for me. Not because it wasn't fun watching everyone trying to discover what I already knew ;) but because I cannot be on at stable times. I get on when I have free time. Even if what I'm going to do, which is self meta, is crappy, I am still doing it. When I'm not there at EoD, don't jump at me and scream SCUM, because it's even more crappy than self meta

That being said, I enjoyed the game and liked the way newer people got involved into the game. The community is growing, both in quantity and quality. GG WP
