Day One

After 27 years with the cruel "Corvo The Black" as their Emperor, the plebeians are fed up with this situation. A resistance group has been formed to stop the Emperor's cruelty, secretly leaded by someone. In the palace, after so many years of just giving orders the Emperor decides to take care of this situation personally. He decides to leave the palace's security to find and execute the people who belong to the resistance group. However, after leaving with the Empress, a Royal Guard suddenly comes to him and explains that the Royal Assasin has dissapeared and that he will be with them for protection.

Just to get this started: Would you fall back on a policy lynch target (say, yzb25) if we did not find anyone particularly scummy today?

Not gonna lie, I spent the best part of the day idly mulling over quick ways to turn the Neut into OP Town Vig, but I couldn't find any. Fucking Gyrlander actually making his setup hard to break for once xD

But since part of my thinking involved a Pleb Leader reveal, I'll go with that since I think that might be a good idea. We get a confirmed town to guide us and the Neut can't risk attacking them yet because the Empress can turn into a Lookout and watch them to see who the Neut is.

Also the Neut would want to take out the Emperor first anyway so they would be more focused on actually killing the scum.

I haven't properly thought through what the drawbacks of the Pleb Leader being revealed would be so there's that to keep in mind.

He usually contributes from what I've seen of him in recent games.

pleb leader would die outright if they cliamed. your also missing the fact that he changed it to be invesgation immune and that the pleb leader cant be healed.

i disagree on neutral wanting to take out empoer first. it would be in the best intrest to kill the town pleb first cus if emoror is dead, town has little incetive to keep it. the royal is jsut a sucide bomber and the empress could be caught by a lookout/detecitve

I recall some people being incredibly upset at his LYLO skills due to Fancy Play Syndrome. Unless I'm mixing him up, he's notorious for losing LYLO as town.

Not detracting from the fact that Mesk has her... questionable... moments, but yzb's poor endgame performance in past games was what came to mind first.

Oh shit, didn't notice the 'can't be healed' part. Never mind that then.

Given the pace of the game, I think that the Neut would be more focused on finding the role that it needs dead since it's basically an Executioner. If they kill the wrong scummers before the Emperor then their wincon becomes ten times harder.

I think Royal Guard is the scum's strongest role actually. TPR-hunter/ Neut-killer seems pretty powerful to me.

And why would town want to have the neutral win with them ? The assassin is never accepting any kind of deal anyways, both town's and sk's objective only align is case of the Emperor, once he's dead, the sk will keep trying to get town.
