I have no pc to check what this repay is, I just know i submitted it to the other mvp thread. So this is the best description i can offer.

The year was 1972, i was a mole for the fbi, deployed deep into the inner workings of one of the biggest crime families in LA. Surrounded by enemies, and treated as one myself by the public, i persevered in collecting evidence and bringing those dirty crooks down, one by one.

I was a spy, i did spy stuff, like carry the entire team despite it being riddled with incompetence. From memory, i think i solved the game from vca and meta, hardly spied at all

Don't have many recent replays, but I have this one from a couple days ago.

Description: I was an incense master. Both of my teammates died night 1 (Bodyguard and Veteran) and I was unable to kill night 2 (Incense Master was only triad role that didn't become enforcer) until i was audited. Then I had to fool an Escort into not roleblocking me, and get off a bunch of lynches on people to win with Auditor.

I roll Jailor. MM gets a lucky spree N1 and gaks a Sheriff and Lookout. Using my powers I kill a Witch N3, the Blackmailer N4, and on N6 I use my final execute on who I thought was an Agent, but was actually Beguiler. 3/3 on my Jailor kills. Godfather ends up leaving in the end, but it was over. Other Jailor gakked the MM earlier in the game. I would have killed 11 for a 4/4 but I ran out of executes.

It was a cold winter night, and I was given the role of arsonist to warm up the city. I originally planned to do a doc claim but changed my claim to sheriff when an investigator came snooping around to me in a pm. I managed to deduce what he found out and gained his trust through wordplay.

Trying to mimic what a sheriff would do, I tried to find a triad. I deduced who a likely triad is based solely off gameplay, after getting him lynched I "confirmed" myself as a sheriff. Even the crier backed me up that night so all the protectives would go on me and Triad wouldn't dare to target me (thus learning who I was). I gained their trust and most of their role claims. After stalling a bit to make sure all were doused, I executed one of the last few I did not douse with my confirmed status as airtight proof to speed up the process. I burned all of them while they were none the wiser. Won as a "confirmed townie" arson and getting an achievement to boot. The night was no longer cold.

Oh wow, this was a good one. I roll vet. I decide to goad mafia. Unsuccessful at first. Then I claim invest and pick #7 Donald Trump as my "scum target" based on his day 1 chat. I successfully get him lynched, flips disguiser. Then I alert and take out the GF, and a doc, poor girl. So then, I noticed 12's voting patterns and clearly scum question of "what should we vote?" So I push town to vote him, and take out the janitor.

Now game doesn't end, i knew something had to be left. I ask for roles, and everyone pm's me b/c I'm confirmed AF. Well 5 claims vet, and I'm like no way bro, there's me vet and 2 is confirmed vigi. So I push vote on 5 after pushing inno on him, we lynch him and he flips sk.

Well, 13 claims exe to me, and 2 confirms it. and I knew everything else was confirmed, so I push for 6 and have the neutral solo vote to minimize casualty. 6 flips witch.

I'm accused of hacking by 6. GG pick me.

Tl;dr: I as vet literally had a hand in every single neutral/evil/mafia death in this game. I ran the game from day 2.

As interrogator, I tried to execute the mayor on day 1; however, the game settings did not allow for an unblockable kill. So, I had to improvise. I feigned apathy on day 2 so that I would be innocent voted, but an afk arson died. At this point, it was 2 mafia and a neutral benign vs all of town

On night 3 the neutral benign died. So, it was 2 mafia vs almost all of town. So, I began jailing and figuring out roles and killing off doctors first while coordinating with the mayor and other jailors. I had to make sure 1 (the GF) wasn't exposed ever because he was extremely new, didn't understand the game, and therefore couldn't defend himself.

I pretended to jail 1 as I realized jailing people (and confirming they weren't killing roles) would slowly lead to the inevitable death of me or the GF. So, I proceeded to lie my way to killing off all of the town roles without making the mayor mad at me. Along the way, I attempted to frame 11 for wanting to kill a jailor. I nearly lost his trust, so I lynched DH with his permission. I knew he would be accused shortly, so me accusing him made it so that I had something to back me up.

The gist of this game is that I knew the mayor was not very experienced, so even in the face of damning evidence I had to contradict quickly any claim (even if it seemed stupid) in an attempt to confuse him and put the focus on someone else. I also knew I couldn't rely on 1 to win the game without me, so me sacrificing myself for 1 would have been a terrible idea.

In the end, it likely came down to me choosing the wrong target to kill.

Yes I lost the game, but the contest is a question of most valuable player. Sometimes, the MVP doesn't win.

In this game I was the marshall. A couple towns were dead and the amnesiac and sk, but I called lynch, and lynched all 3 mafia in the same day, ending the game right there with no towns killed. I had information from the townies that one of the ones i lynched was ns, and I repeatedly went back through chat and votes to figure out who were likely mafia and who were being framed. One towny was claiming 14 evil, but I was recording a lw before my lynch, and deduced that he was not night immune, even when there were several other doc claims when he was escort. Just to be safe before I revealed, I typed to be ready for 14 (my biggest suspect that I wouldn't lynch despite claims of NI) in case of a judge call. There was also a janitor that had cleared off one of the townies. I had been looking through chat figuring out which ones seemed most suspicious, and with careful logic on determining roles and which were viable, I figured out which ones were truthful and which were holding information from me in one day. Everyone was going wild that I lynched all 3 in a perfect lynch. By being prepared for anything, and carefully analyzing the situation, I swiftly lynched the baddies when we had no leads. -Mafia- (783).SC2Replay

In this game I was the serial killer. On day 2 the mayor reveals, and I quickly give him my role of "sheriff" with 1 and 13 who are ns. The mayor lynched a triad, and he asks me for my lw after I have told him twice, and the he lynches someone the next day before he dies. He leaves in his lw those who haven't given him a role, and also my number and 2 saying that we are very suspicious. They vote to trial me, and I quickly respond with how fast I got voted up and that the mayor has no role for 2 and 8, and make up a quick lw that is legit and allows me to potentially frame people in the future. I get 3 townies to inno me and 2 mafia to guilty me. I attack the dragonhead, so I know he is either neutral or dh, but things are hard for me since there is alot of town and I am unsure if he is an ally or enemy. The town then refuses to put up 8, but then the next day I claim that he is mafia (which I am sure at this point due to his voting pattern) in a gamble to legitimize my sheriff claim. My gamble was successful when he claims vet, but I convince town that vet is lying and that no one has died to a vet so far. With the triad are all eliminated, but there is just me and four others. I go on to attack a victim that's night immune, and the next day at the last second when no one is going to be lynched I pm him that I am his ally, but I do not know I am his exe target. I kill one of the ones who I put ns in my lw, further legitimizing my claim. Several people vote me up, including the executioner that has had me as his target all game, and the other sheriff who is legit. I respond with my full lw, and say that I caught the triad and give my lw that I had been building up, with 15 as the only person who I have not checked, implying that he is the sk since everyone else has been cleared. The jailor does not vote me up, and I manage to convince him to jail 15 without my knowing, while I kill the jailor, ending the game right there. I forced town against each other, played the role of sheriff better than the actual sheriff, convinced them to inno me while I was on trial, and avoid being lynched by many people that were my natural enemies, to play the town at every stage in the game to solo win. In the end of the game one guy says sk POTG (play of the game) and another goes 6 played town.

I was Spy. N1 Triad attacked someone immune but I didn't wanna say anything yet to not reveal myself because they said at night that they have a disguiser. Someone else accused the immune guy then and i immediately followed and helped vote him up and pushed to get him lynched, he was arso.

Then the next day, the DH had died to a vet and the disguiser had worked. I knew who triad visited so i could tell that either 3 or 10 was disguiser - the lookout then said that 3 was visited by 2 people, 5 and 10 so I knew that 3 is not disguised because the disguiser was 15. but since triad had visited 3 too, 5 had to be the other triad because 10 was town (before he got disguised). Marshall revealed that day and i told him that both 5 and 10 are triad which was right.

We lynched 3 evils that day and 1 townie - I didn't participate in the townie lynch because I didn't think he was guilty but he got voted very fast. After that, there was only 1 neutral random left and after checking what everyone had claimed or who was confirmed by lws, i knew it was 1 and wrote that in my lw N3. The Marshall thought so too so we lynched 1 the next day and won the game.

So even though the Marshall had all the claims and LWs, I still did a better job in finding the evils for town just based on who triad visited.

At the beginning of the game it was a 8,3,3 save. There were two town random neutrals which happened to be neutral killing for a total of 3 Neutral killings. Day two hits and 3 towns are dead( 2 from sk and 1 from mafia). Town is now at 5,3,3 with all the investigative roles dead. I decided to reveal as Marshall day 2 and get town to pm roles. I lynched a spy claim first instead of a person who didn't pm a role, they were SK. Next target was doc claim who said they visited one of the targets one of my spy's leads, He was Framer. It was extremely hard to vote up this target due to the slow vote of mafia, I knew he was mafia instantly, but my spy kept saying he was inno. I then spam he is SK, to trick my spy to thinking he is not mafia and then spy votes him up. I then vote up a target who claimed escort but gave no lw, he then reveals his target after I start spamming his name. He then claims to roleblock the mafia member i just lynched. This mafia member was also the one one probably the one who visited one, so he is beyound guilty. He turned out to be SK. The ends Day 2 lynching SK,Framer, SK. Night 3 Mafia kills one of my bg claims It is now 4,2,1. Day 3, I decide to lynch again. I then Decide To kill the sheriff claim(was DH) who gave me a false lead on one of my SK's that I lynched Day 2. My next target was 3(Arsonist) who didn't give me a role day 2 and was rather obvious. I Really had no idea on the third lynch, so I killed my spy in order to eliminate him as a target option for mafia to kill. I lynched DH,Arsonist, and spy. This left me with 2 bg claims, which both voted me up on Day 2 when I lynched the framer, and a vet claim who had 1 more alert. If mafia decided to target one of my bg claims, then I would lynch the other bg who is alive thus giving me an easy win. That was not the case and Mafia targeted the vet and died. I won the game for town even when town was at a minority for day 2. After I won the Game for Town People accused me for hacking because this win was insane. You need to see dead chat too.

On behalf of Veri and I, I would to thank everyone who participated in this contest. It received lots more attention than anticipated. Thus being said, I will jump right into the results.

In 3rd Place:
For their win as an Incense Master, this player showed true preservation. With both fellow triads killed N1, this player was not allowed to kill until they were audited into an Enforcer and was able to collaborate with the Auditor to secure a win.

For their hard earned Arsonist win, this player put careful thought and effort into every move they made. This player was able to deduce who the Triad was to secure themselves as a "confirmed" town member and lead the lynches towards the end of the game. When they had everyone doused, night 8 they finally set fire and watched as 5 people burned.

I would also like to congratulate Reasoner on his win!


He first wanted to claim Doctor but showed flexibility and wits when he was confronted with an Invest asking for his role and changed his claim to Sheriff. But not only did he convince the Invest that he's town, he also took a risk by accusing another player he found suspicious of being triad and getting him lynched - who turned out to be Silencer. The town now completely trusted him, protectives were on him and the next day, when he asked for PMs, everyone was more than willing to give him their roles and LWs.
He then lead the town in lynching a Survivor and an Invest and made sure that nobody started doubting him by explaining his motives even before town could question them - like saying that the Invest pmed him a wrong LW when he didn't pm a LW at all.

Then, N8, enough people were doused and he ignites and wins the game. Even while the death's were shown, people were still wondering who the Arso could be, but nobody suspected Reasoner.

I enjoyed watching this game very much, well played Reasoner!
You definitely deserve the MVP title for this game!
