The conclusion was what originally bothered me. Putting people into groups and saying "these people will give us more information"

Also, I get that you replaced in fairly recently, but you could have made a conclusion off of some of the stuff you had. You left it open if you thought this person was scum/town, and you made the words sound like it was from a neutral perspective.

I had the same reaction to it. So much so, that I thought you were mafia and that we had to help you out from getting lynched.

Eh.....I know I always play as a real scum to get a town lynch bait but....that ain't working very well with newbie player because they give a free pass ticket day 1 anyway. I don't blame that, it just...it's not work every time

The only time that type of play ever makes sense is when you have a mod confirmable role. E.g. Mayor / Innocent Child

This is how it works:
- Mayor remains hidden
- Mayor acts openly scummy
- Scum won't kill Mayor since they believe Mayor can be mislynched and remain in the POE
- Mayor must avoid getting lynched for the first day or two
- Once the POE is narrowed down, Mayor reveals and dumps notes, narrowing the POE even further

^ this type of play really only works for Mayor/Innocent Child where your alignment is mod revealed, not just your confirmable role.

Anyway, Yuki approached the setup, whether knowingly or unknowingly, in a pretty elite way.

Theoretically, yes. If mafia/SK keep the lurkers/afk alive until the end of the game, they pretty much have their ticket to victory as they (Lurkers) will not hunt for scum.

POLITICO is a prime example of this.

Try to live my life. It's cool to have a homestay that throw bucket of water into a fire that's have oil inside the kitchen

Aside from not using the word fan, you didnt do too badly.

I would avoid posts that don't have any conclusions. It gives us a bad impression of you because that itself is not an opinion which is what people are looking for.

Also, push your scum-reads more. I didn't really see who you scum-read throughout the entire game, and you didn't push anyone aside from me when there were already multiple votes on me.

This device is useful in acquiring tips.

The point about reaching conclusions is kind of fair. If you're commenting just for the sake of commenting, then your opinions serve little purpose, other than for scum to latch onto one of your opinions and leash you into going along. So, purposeful posts may be a better wording for 'draw conclusions'.

For example- I often don't reveal all my notes and conclusions on players up front, especially if it isn't relevant towards my purpose in the thread at the moment. Instead I'll ask players questions, prod them for reactions, or see how it plays out organically - but I always circle back to explain my thought process of questions/prods/waiting.

If I said something like;
I dunno if I trust player X because of this post, but not sure.

Then you come off as hedgy, AND you've revealed to Player X your intentions. So if you then try to ask player X questions, you'll probably get jack.
