Advantages:

-Plants will receive more sunlight through photosynthesis, and will produce better. There will be more carbon dioxide and pollutants in the lower atmosphere, which plants thrive in.
-The New World Order which is trying to fuck us in the ass constantly, doesn't have any long-term vision for mitigation of the effects of climate change. They will die along with us
-New species will evolve to adapt to the harsher climate, and it could lead to many wacky animals in the future. Discovery Channel covered this once.
-The Kardashians would die, unless they hid underground and become pale.

Disadvantages:

-Plants would suffer, as well, as water levels and droughts would become more common. All that extra pollution and UV rays won't do them much good if they're parched.
-So many furry animals will die.
-The ending scene from "Knowing" will happen, the sun will roast us until we catch fire. A book called "Six Degrees: Our Future on a Hotter Planet" details this, and talks about how just a change of six degrees Celcius will result in a land that is literally on fire.



SO, bottom line: I laugh at people who bitch about how hot the summer is. These are individuals who will collapse emotionally when things get REALLY bad! Not me, however. Awareness and knowledge are the new strength.

Does nobody take this topic seriously, even in a satirical sense? I've been aware of it since I was in grade school as a kid. There was a lot more environmental awareness pushing by the Ontario Government, they even had great cartoon PSA's that detailed about not leaving the tap running while brushing teeth, and to conserve in other areas.

We can't see it right now because it'll be the ecosystems that will be the first to go, then we'll start to notice the effects in our concrete jungles.

In other words, a gas that was poisonous to the vast majority of life at the time had a significantly higher percentage in the atmosphere than normal, causing a lot of life to die. However, that didn't eliminate life.

I think "better" is a misnomer when talking about evolution. It's not that animals will "evolve" to have traits that are better, but rather that the animals that don't have useful traits will die, only leaving those that can survive. So in a way, yes.

Global warming is a problem or else anything trapped in the atmosphere will be poisoned. God most likely does not want global warming to occur, but it's a problem created by humans. It's our fault, why should God not let it happen? Remember in Adam & Eve when God would talk to them? It's not like that anymore. Humans are the majority in this planet. We need to control ourselves by not committing sins and have faith.
