    Role Cards and Ranking

    I got two small suggestions that would be nice to see in the Mafia 2.0 Game.

    Role Cards -

    It would be nice to see updated role cards with Certain Interactions that would always be true. Such as when a lookout visits a vet they don't die and any toggle options that apply to roles. I didn't even know that a lookout doesn't die to a vet until sometime this past week. Mostly cause it rarely happens. I'm not sure if this is already suggested or implemented.

    Also does Investigator Detect through Detection Immune?

    Ranking System -

    I don't expect it to be like previous ranked games, but it would be nice to see some sort of Ranking by Win/Loss Ratio that gives people something to try for. This could be at all times, or only during the game setup phase of the lobby or applied in the base lobby. This might help people play a bit more seriously and could even implement some cosmetic Marker for players to show off their rank.

    These are just some thoughts, I don't expect much out of them, and wouldn't want to put anymore work in the delay of Mafia 2.0

    I thought there is a Ranked System seperate from the regular lobby system in the game already that no one gives a shit about?
    The issue is how is leaving games counted in win to loss ratios? Because as is, its a 50/50 split: between leaving to get to another game faster or staying to the end to get a meager 5 points for losing, among people who know they are losing or died too early to have any fun

    also idk how to feel about the first suggestion. Might be too much clutter and information overload in game, especially for noobs. Maybe its better to just update the horribly outdated SC2Mafia Wikia?

    I'd really like to add a way for games to be more competitive and track stats. It's something we'll probably look into down the line. There are some really good Mafia players in those games and they should be recognized.

    The role cards should be addressed eventually. I've been doing some work to them in the current update but you're right in that important information is missed on some.

    The Role Cards would only be the really pertinent information. Not every last bit of information. Like - Vets don't kill lookouts and other information that would make or break a game based on information being misconstrued.

    i dont know how to feel about making this sort of information more accessible. I feel like part of being a veteran player of Sc2mafia should be knowing about this from experience and not just cuz you're told about it, and then deceiving others who don't know it. I mean deception is a big part of the game, but would this become TOO metagame-y?

    honestly, there are too many interactions like that to list them all anyway. I mean how would you explain in a role card what happens when the lookout visits a bus driver who swaps himself with an escort who also targets the bus driver, while an arsonist also tries to douse the escort? That's a bit of an exaggeratedly rare case of course, but my point is that it would be impossible to list all of the "special" interactions on each card. I think this stuff is what the wiki is for, and we are working on a revamp for the wiki
