    S-FM Atmos Crossing

    The Grand Crossing

War has ravaged the lands surrounding Atmos. The Galim battles have devastated the landscape, making it largely uninhabitable, but the grand city of Atmos stand tall around the surrounding landscape, towering over the desolate wasteland which used to be home to a thriving countryside. Atmos was one of the only major cities to pledge its allegiance to the Emperor, as such it was able to survive.

Now that the Emporer has been vanquished, Atmos stands at a particular crossing. Millions of displaced refugees see the concrete and metal structures of Atmos as a haven from the fallout around them. At any given moment, the walls erected around Atmos to keep the inhabitants inside now keep thousands of unfortunate souls from receiving asylum. The Atmos council have raised their immigration standards higher than ever, and experts estimate that soon the homeless and displaced will reach critical mass, and Atmos may be stormed- they will take the homeless, or the homeless will take them.

Inside the walls turmoil remains as well. There is a shortage of guards, and the council has begun facing opposition from an insurgent party which wishes to open the gates to a relative, or a friend, or a mentor stuck outside the walls for eternity for one reason or another.

    Spoiler : Rolecards :

    State Councilman
You are one of the 11 senators on the Atmos Grand Council, one of the most prestigious positions to hold on the continent. Your anti-immigration policies have made you rather unpopular as of late, however, and some of the recent turmoil has caused you to go into hiding. You know that if the wall falls, the homeless will rush into Atmos like water, and the infrastructure of the city cannot handle that. You will do whatever you can do to prevent that.

During the day you may reveal to gain two extra votes permanently.
Your identity will be revealed as the State Councilman.
    Spoiler : Atmos :

    Atmos Captain
Your years of military service and experience mean you know how to keep a cool head in a political quagmire like this one. Keep a keen eye, and always head toward your goal.

    You have night immunity.
You share a night chat with the two other wall guards, x and y.
At night you may Quash a player, preventing them from acting. This fails if you target the councilman.
You may also write out a letter to your Undercover Guard in addition to your night action.
    Sniper
You have a steady hand and you know when to use it. Your academy training prepared you for any scenario, you can take out your target from anywhere.

You have a one use day-kill.
Upon submitting your ability, the kill will happen at the 24 or 48 hour mark (whichever comes first).
You share a night chat with your captain and your other guard, x and y.
    Jailor
Atmos has some of the highest quality detainment facilities in the world, and with all the turmoil going on, will anybody notice someone going missing for a night?

During the day you may mark someone for jailing. They will be placed in your jail cell for the night.
During the night, you share a night chat with them. They are taken out of any night chats they are in. You may still use yours.
    The jailed target is roleblocked.
You have a 2-use execute which you may use on days when an Insurgent or Fanatic was NOT lynched.
You share a night chat with your captain and your other guard, x and y.
    Vigilante
During training they said there was something off about you. They were right. You are quick to force and you are damn good at it too. If something doesn’t work how it’s supposed to, you’ll force it. If you force it enough, nobody will question you. And lord knows they don’t have time with the events outside the wall right now.

You have a 3-use plasma rifle which you may use to kill a player.
You share a night chat with your captain and your other guard, x and y.
    Medic
Hospital life was boring, you were left unchallenged by a stagnant controlled environment. You decided that a combat medic would be a better use of your talent and skill, so you went to military training and became a combat medic for the Atmos military. Your skills have never been in higher demand than now, with thousands of people swarming around the wall, getting into trouble and starting fights.

At night you may heal a player.
You share a night chat with your captain and your other guard, x and y.
    Border Screener
You are the head security of a border station along the wall. It’s a fairly monotonous job, most days used to be quite uneventful. But these days, you’ll have to break up fights almost by the hour. You’ve learned to identify troublemakers and you’ve learned to put them aside as fast as possible. If someone gets in your way, that’s their fault.

At night you may investigate a player, learning their alignment.
You have a one use pistol which you may use to kill a player.
If you use your pistol to kill a town person, you will be stripped of your powers.
You share a night chat with your captain and your other guard, x and y.
    Lookout
Your job is quite simple. Watch from the wall. Find troublemakers and point them out to your captain. Your eagle eyed-ness has gotten you awards in the past, and you’ve grown quite close to your captain because of it.

At night you may watch a player, learning who visits them.
    Policeman
You’re a city policeman raked into working on the wall. Anything for the good of your country, you suppose. The inner city people know you well, and you know them quite well too.

You share a night chat with a random Power Role in addition to your factional night chat.
You have a one-use pistol which you may use to kill a player.
If you use your pistol to kill a town person, you will be stripped of your powers.
You share a night chat with your captain and your other guard, x and y.
    Undercover Guard
You have been tasked with an espionage mission to identify the insurgent and fanatic parties. It’s a prestigious honor, but you’re making less headway than you had hoped. You need more time, but your captain values all the information you are sending his way, so you seem to be in the clear for now. The councilman will be less forgiving.

You know the identity of the Atmos Captain, but not the guards.
At night you may track a player, learning who they visit and who visits them.
You do NOT participate in the Atmos night chat.

    Spoiler : Insurgents :

    Insurgent Captain
The world is crumbling to pieces, and your loved ones sit on the other side of a wall. One concrete, metal and stone barrier separating you and your entire life. How can you sit idly by while the council does nothing, and the corrupt police twiddle their thumbs?

At night you may ambush a player, killing them.
    You are night immune.
You share a night chat with the other Insurgents, x and y.
    Sniper
Your wife left Atmos on a business trip right before the war broke out. She was stuck out there. You couldn't see her for years after they shut the gate. Three months ago you received a letter from her- she's back, at the wall, a bit worse for the wear, but she can't come in without sitting in bureaucratic hell. What else can you do but make things messy?

You have a one use day-kill.
Upon submitting your ability, the kill will happen at the 24 or 48 hour mark (whichever comes first).
    Kidnapper
Political figures of all shapes and sizes roam the streets of Atmos, oblivious to the danger they are in. Your contacts can help you find them at a given moment, and perhaps the urchins on the street can be persuaded to look the other way.

During the day you may mark someone for jailing. They will be placed in your jail cell for the night.
During the night, you share a night chat with them. They are taken out of any night chats they are in. You may still use yours.
    The jailed target is roleblocked.
    You have a 1-use execute.

    Spoiler : Fanatics :

    Fanatic
Humanity is falling apart at the seams, and Atmos is the last bastion. Who are they to decide who lives or dies? Humanity will survive- thanks to you. They will remember you.

You share a night chat with the other Fanatics.
Every odd night you may recruit another Fanatic. Recruiting will only succeed on town roles (green) and will fail for any other alignment.
If you recruit a power role, they keep their abilities.
If there are 5 Fanatics living at a day end, the game ends in a Fanatic solo win.

I know it's still a WIP, but this is an FM, not an S-FM.
