    Identity Switcher

    So I have the makings of a 3/4 baked idea.

    The ability is to switch two players' identity. Kind of like a disguiser but without the death. Here's a scenario in which I could see this play out and be useful for a mafia team.

    Mafia (Fae) fake claims sheriff and gets someone eliminated via vote.
    Town gets angry and wants to kill the fake claimer, Fae
    Mafia switches the Fae with someone else (Tom) in the town.
    Fae looks like Tom, and tries to blend in with town as they lynch Tom, who looks like Fae.
    Tom, who looks like Fae, says he's not Tom, and Fae, who looks like Tom, is the person they need to eliminate.
    Town needs to figure out which person is actually Fae.

    OR

    Mafia (Fae) fake claims sheriff and gets someone eliminated via vote.
    Town gets angry and wants to kill the fake claimer, Fae
    Mafia DOESNT switch Fae.
    Fae says that she is actually Tom, and Tom switched bodies with her.
    Town needs to figure out which person is actually Fae.

    Probably needs balanced tweaking, as they can't keep switching forever. Then again, its like a 50/50 so...
    Also, how long should the effect last?

    Also looking to see if this is a shit role idea or not, and/or obvious holes.

    It's not only not redundant, but it also alters the game in a way that not only doesn't kill someone (thus eliminating them from the game), but also creates an interesting thunderdome situation.

    yea so replace disguiser with this role, because someone dying with their will cleaned after a kill sound UNIQUE to the disguiser is not fooling anyone.

    I don't know it seems OP and it doesn't fit SC2 Mafia in my opinion. In SC2 Mafia chat is very limited so it's hard to determine anything based only on chatting and this role denies any information town had, even if it wasn't actually used, the possibility that it was used already makes it impossible for town to determine anything. If Disguiser is used Town is atleast notified about that. IRL Mafia or Forum Mafia is based mostly on chatting, since u have a lot of time to read your opponents, in SC2 Mafia there is no time for that so most things are determined by either actual informations or votes and just the existence of this role would mess things up too much.

    To elaborate, the idea of the victim internally (or quite angrily) screeching as another player pulled the old switcheroo appeals to me. Finding an appropriate place for the mechanic is difficult.

    the only reason why i don't give abilities in this version of the role, is that it also becomes an investigator of sorts. which i'm not keen on giving.

    although that gives me another idea for a role.
