    Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty M-FM

    I've been tinkering a setup set in the universe of starcraft 2 for a very long time now. Here is the final version made for 20 people.


    Raynor's Raiders:

    Jim Raynor (godfather/revolutionary)
    Matt Horner (cosigliere)
    Random Mafia

    Neutrals:
    The Witness
    Devil Dog: Arsonist
    Town:
    Arcturus Mengsk (Mayor)
    Nova (Vigilante)
    General Warfeild (Sheriff)
    Medic
    Dropship
    Random Town Power

    Random Town Roles: Lookout, Detective, Dropship (bus driver), Medic, Escort, coroner, jailor, bodyguard

    Random Mafia Roles: Consort, Framer, Janitor, Grave Robber, Blackmailer

    Win Conditions:
    Raynor's Raiders win if at least one of them survives long enough to see Mengsk lynched
    Town wins as a faction long as Mengsk is alive at the end, if Mengsk is lynched only the surviving town members win. Regardless of if Mengsk is alive town members have to eliminate Raynor's Raiders, and the Devil Dog to win
    Devil Dog be the last man alive, can win with Raynor's Raiders if they have fufilled their win condition

    Unique Roles:
    Jim Raynor: You are the leader of Raynor's Raiders and wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to kill one person each night AND to recruit one person to your cause each night. Only citizens and the witness may be recruited. You are immune to night death and investigations.

    Revolutionists: You were once a citizen who has taken up the cause of Raynor's Raiders and wishes to overthrow Mengsk. You may be sent to do the Raiders nightly kill.

    Arcturus Mengsk: You are the Emperor of the dominion, as such your identity is known to everyone. You are completely immune to death other than by being lynched. Your vote counts for 3 votes.

    The Witness: The witness is one of the last people who knows what really happened on Tarsonis and has proof. He wishes for a simple quiet life but has been caught up in Mengsk's manhunt of the Raiders. As long as the witness is alive and not recruited he wins with the town. If he is killed by the mafia, Nova's DAY shot or lynched the witness will LOSE and the secret will be revealed. If he is recruited by Jim Raynor he will win with the mafia and the secret will be revealed. If he is killed by Nova's NIGHT shot or devil dog the secret is buried and he wins with the town.

    EVENT - THE SECRET REVEALED: When the truth about what Mengsk did on Tarsonis is revealed half + 1 remaining citizens will be automatically converted into revolutionaries.

    EVENT - EXTRA NIGHTKILL: Raynor's raiders will recieve the ability to perform two nightkills if their numbers ever reach 6 or greater.

    settings: Nova has two night shots and one day shot
    jailor can jail every day but can only execute if there is no lynch. Jailor cannot execute night 1. If target is in jail they are immune to night death but can still be recruited by Raynor's Raiders. If the jailor jails a mafia member they will receive the notification "someone is mysteriously absent" at the beginning of the night.
    lookout and detective see godfather's actions
    dropship cannot bus self
    devil dog can burn during the day
    devil dog's burn incinerates both roles and last wills of the targets (think janitor)
    mafia chat is open during the day

    6) Sheriff investigation
    7) Detective/Lookout investigation

    12) Janitor Cleans
    13) coroner checks
    14) graverobber grave robs

    You are the consort of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to role block one person, preventing them from taking any night actions. To use this ability pm me -roleblock target

    You are the framer of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to frame one person and make them appear to be a member of Raynor's Raiders to investigative roles. To use this ability pm me -frame target.

    You are the janitor of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to hide one person who was killed's role and steal their last will. You may only use this ability three times. To use this ability pm me -clean target.

    You are the Grave Robber of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to steal a dead person's role from beyond the grave. You may only use this ability two times. You will have to choose between stealing someone's ability and using the ability you have stolen. To use this ability pm me -steal target.

    You are the blackmailer of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to blackmail a target making it so that they can only say the words "I am blackmailed" and vote. If the target says anything else they will be modkilled. To use this ability pm me -blackmail target.

    You are the drug dealer of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You have the ability to generate a fake message that you can control. Your choice of fake messages is "you were bus driven" "you were controlled" and "you were attacked." To use this action type -drug target and state which message you want delivered.

    You are Gabrielle Tosh, the witch of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. Using voodoo magic you have the ability to control one person and make them target whoever you want. To use this ability say -control x and target x.

    You have been converted to a revolutionist of Raynor's Raiders. You wish to see Arcturus Mengsk overthrown. You may be sent to kill someone by Jim Raynor. If Jim Raynor is dead you will vote and decide who to send to kill in your night chat.

    You are the Devil Dog. You wish to see everyone die in a fire. You have the ability to douce someone at night and burn all those who are douced at any time. You also have the ability to undouce someone you previously douced, however this will use up your night action. Burning pierces through healing but does not pierce Jim Raynor or Arcturus Mengsk's immunity. Buring incinerates the role and last will of the target (think janitor). To use this ability pm me -douce target, undouce target, and -burn accordingly.

    You are the Witness. You know Mengsk's secret but wish to live a peaceful life. You do not have any abilities but are vital to the game. As long as the you are alive and not recruited you with the town. If you killed by the mafia, Nova's dayshot or lynched you will LOSE and the secret will be revealed. If you are recruited by Jim Raynor you will win with the mafia and the secret will be revealed. If you killed by Nova's night shot or The Devil Dog the secret is buried and you win with the town.

    You are Arcturus Mengsk. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog eliminated. Your identity is revealed from the start of the game, your vote counts for three votes and you are completely immune from death other than by lynching.

    You are Nova. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You are a highly skilled assassin with two night shots and one day shot. To use your ability pm me -shoot target.

    You are General Warfield. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You are in charge of security of Mengsk and the dominion and can check anyone at night to see if they are a member of Raynor's Raiders. To use this ability pm me -check target.

    You are a medic. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You are an experienced healer who can treat even the most fatal of wounds. To use this ability pm me -heal target.

    You are a dropship. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. Your transportation has the ability to swap two players every night, night actions that target one of the swapped players will be redirected to the other one. To use this ability pm me -swap target a and target b.

    You are a lookout. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You are a sleuth who has the ability to observe a player and see who visited them at night. To use this ability pm me -watch target.

    You are a detective. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You are trained to follow anyone and see who they visit at night without being noticed. To use this ability pm me -follow target.

    You are an escort. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You have the ability to role block one person, preventing them from taking any night actions. To use this ability pm me -roleblock target.

    You are a coroner. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You have the ability to perform an autopsy on a dead target to reveal their role and last will. To use this ability -pm me autopsy target. If you autopsy a target and a grave robber tries to rob their identity the grave robber will fail.

    You are a jailor. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You can jail a target every night, roleblocking them and giving them night immunity however you can only execute them if there is no lynch that day. Jailor executions pierces Jim Raynor's night immunity. You have three executions. To jail someone pm me -jail target during the day.

    You are a bodyguard. You wish to bring peace to the dominion by seeing Raynor's Raiders and the devil dog. You have the ability to prevent any night actions from happening to who you choose to protect except for bus driving and witching. If your target is attack you will die along with the attacker.

    This seems really cool. Balancing will always be hard with a cult but it seems fair enough to me with only 1 evil neutral and a special neutral. Ofc Raynor being burned day 2 could mess things up but that's unlikely.

    Will the game start at day or night?

    Can the detective see both of the godfather's actions? If he can then he would know he's the godfather or BD.

    Looks interesting. Especially the witness has some nice options on how to play, which is much better than a standard survivor.

    I also like how citizens are the greatest threat to Mengsk

    If the citizens openly oppose Mengsk, though, the town PRs don't really stand a chance.

    honestly my favourite part of the setup is how important citizens are, unlike most forum mafia games where citizens are basically meat shields for town power roles. They remind me of the pawns in chess, alone they are weak but together they are strong and provide vital board control

    Balance updated
    -Devil Dog kills now incinerate roles and last wills like a janitor
    -jailor settings defined more clearly
    -Drug Dealer added to random mafia role list. Can control the type of message they drug their victim with.
    -Gabriel Tosh (witch) added to random mafia role list. Like a witch but with the mafia.
    -bodyguard mechanics changed, now prevents any night actions except bus driving and witching from happening to their target.

    hopefully it is still approved
