Question Handling Lobby Sabotage by Auto-Kicked Players?

How do you handle a player that deliberately (confirmed via PM) brings a lot of auto-kicked players into the lobby?

Since the new "security measures" arrived, I'm ending up in 14/15's with a easy third going trains up. There's a player, theoneceko, who upon arriving in my lobby, will advertise it in as many mainstream/public chat channels as possible (on a couple occasions, those channels have reported him resulting in a temporary blizz-mute).

The result is tons of Arcade players that I know or suspect will be auto-kicked. Rather than try to differentiate between 0 mafia games on baby accounts and/or 0 mafia games on accounts passing age verification, I just kick them from the lobby. Sometimes this frustrates other lobby members who want a full game we both want the same thing). Other times it provides a platform for trolls to lag out on load screen, leave on config page, or otherwise jeopardize liftoff.

Kicking Ceko any time he lands in my lobby is certainly an efficient option, but I don't want to really send this kid over the edge. He can rage with the best of them when tilted. And although I publicly harangue him for getting blizzmuted, he loves the attention and the pm exchanges are "friendly." Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, etc. I know there's no out-of-game report process and am more looking for advice than the addressing of a specific grievance.

Also am completely open to hearing, "You're super-troll yourself, and this is the price of admission."

Iím honored to be mentioned in your post. Seems like the post is more about me than the issues this game has with lobby sabotage lol. And yes I can rage with the best (worst) of them, and no Iím not a kid. But I act like one!Idc bc weíre all spamming idiots on mafia. Now thatís hot.

I stopped advertising our lobbies. Itís boring and Iím in too many channels already. Sooo yea pls donít ban me, or Iíll rage tilt.

Youíre super troll yourself, and this is the price of admission.

I recommend that you don't lobby kick people, unless they are famous gamethrowers/greifers, or hackers.

Serial leave-inciters are ok to kick (MikeU for example). theoneceko hasn't reached that point yet.
I have no use for these bloodless minnows. Bring me a prey that will sate my bloodlust. I hunger.

Moustache is correct. Unfortunately due to the preferential treatment of the worst griefers (Choo Iamme Hacker for example) and the staff's refusal to permaban him, this is one such example of vigilante justice that is needed.

But it does seem like onegecko here wasn't intentionally trying to flood the game with players who were so new they would be autokicked.

It is amazing to me that such extreme measures such as a blanket autokick are taken while known griefers are allowed to roam freely and ruin games as they please (Choo Iamme Hacker, aka BoxerRebellion).

You gotta talk to blizzard about lobby abuse.. The only thing SC2 staff controls is the map itself and even that is by the grace of Blizzard.

If you feel like some troll is getting preferential treatment feel free to bring it up in a constructive way. It does happen and sometimes all you can do is delete their posts : P

Its easy to tear something down. Building something real takes a level of conviction and dedication that is not cool or fun.

This is mostly just a disadvantage due to being on system run outside SC2Mafia's control. A lot of things could be handled better on a dedicated platform. Unfortunately, this is not one, so we gotta live with what we got.

You dare use my name MrMostache. Players can kick whoever they choose too, it's their lobby and game.

Yeah 5 lobbies and all but 1 kicking on-join. I take it back. Lobby-spamming (and bringing auto-kicks in) is the least of our worries.

I haven't seen a multiple account troll for quite a while, brings back memories.

Only thing to do about lobby abuse is to report it to blizzard.

    Spoiler : :
FM XIV - Rapture : Denizen
FM XV - Star Wars : Citizen
FM XIV - FuzzyWuzzyTown : Doctor
