    RachylMellow: 1-S2-1-8062177

    Account Name: RachylMellow
    Account ID: 1-S2-1-8062177
    In-Game Name: Silver Shamrock

    Crimes Committed: Cheating/Game-throwing

    Your Account Name: Exeter

    Summary:
    Hotkey 3

RachylMellow picks the name "Silver Shamrock" and rolls Doctor in slot #14.

N1: Guards Akemi Homura (#10), who is impersonating Balthy.

D2: #10 breaks out of character by saying "im the fucking best" at day start.

RachylMellow questions #10 if he is Balthy, and votes him after calling him out as an impostor.

#10 resumes his impersonation, causing RachylMellow to doubt herself, so she declares that she will check her Bnet list.

#10 breaks character again by referring to RachylMellow as "that girl. Rachel. Rachyl." after which RachylMellow resumes pushing a lynch on #10. The Town puts #10 on trial.

On stage, #10 gives his legitimate Bus Driver defense. This is quickly confirmed by #13, who was bussed.

However, RachylMellow continues to push for a lynch simply because #10 is not the real Balthy, and because the real Balthy is offline. She is the sole guilty voter on #10, everybody else abstains or inno's due to #10's confirmed role.

N2: Vigilante shoots RachylMellow, presumably for her sole guilty vote, but dies to a BG who is protecting her.

D3: RachylMellow does not continue pushing on #10, possibly because she has acknowledged his confirmed role by now, or more likely because she knows she is now under suspicion by Town and will soon die unless she salvages the situation, one attempt on her life having already been made. I say this because she does not acknowledge #10's confirmed role at all, and instead tries to dominate day chat as soon as day starts on D3 in order to divert attention from herself.

Despite her attempt to save herself, she is lynched anyway.

The rest of the game proceeds normally, culminating in a solo Jester win.

I believe that RachylMellow's actions constitute as cheating since the decisions were made based on OOG information (checking Bnet friend list to see if Balthy is online and knowing for a fact that #10 was not Balthy).

Additionally, her decision to lynch a fellow Town member for no other reason than #10 impersonating her friend, even though his Bus Driver claim has been backed up by another player, can be interpreted as game-throwing.

Because this situation happened early on D2 and was resolved by D3, it is difficult to gauge how it impacted the game overall. However, it did lead to 3 Townies unnecessarily losing their lives: the Vigilante for shooting based on suspicious voting patterns, the Bodyguard who protected RachylMellow for reasons best known to himself, and RachylMellow herself who was rightfully lynched for voting guilty on a confirmed Bus Driver.

Even if the Bodyguard had chosen a more logical target to protect and the Vigilante's shot had gotten through, it would still have led to the unnecessary loss of one Town life.

Unnecessary losses of Town life happen all the time in games due to poor decisions, manipulation by evils, etc, but this loss is different as it was brought about by OOG motivations and information.
