Thread: Coffee Shops

    Coffee Shops

Does anyone actually go to coffee shops to do work? I always see people with laptops doing work in them, but I wonder how effective it is.

Seems like dedicating a fixed amount of time to being somewhere could have productivity benefits.
I'm FloodingRain on sc2, sorry for the confusion <3

Much in the same way that rural life is entirely incomprehensible to me, I guess.

Because you can focus on your work, because it's fun to take a coffee or something nice that you like while working, because when you're there you don't say "I would SOOO MUUUCH do something else"... I think that's good reasons, no?

That's a scumslip though: you are admitting you aren't doing it and aren't productive.

    Haha you got me

I'm still doing productive things, but not to the level that I'm happy with. I have fairly high standards, though.

I'm moving to a new place in downtown soon for a job, so I will start high productivity then

Yes, but at the same time getting home from work, and then going out to study for work exams seems pointless if you have to travel far. Can't be too picky. Of course, there is always starbucks....
